Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for supporting a filling shoe for a filter chamber, which is formed in a filter press along a parting plane between a lower and a flush on this upper filter plate and which is acted upon by at least one channel in the filling shoe with a medium, wherein the filling shoe is partially received in a receptacle formed in the upper filter plate and supported on the lower filter plate when the filter chamber is closed. Furthermore, the invention relates to a filling shoe and a filter plate for carrying out the method.
- Filter presses with the aforementioned arrangement of a plurality of filter plates as a plate stack and between each two filter plates lying on each other filter chambers are well known. Reference is made in this context, for example, to DE 32 22 987 AI, DE 32 22 988 AI and DE 19905 674 Cl.In the filter chambers - essentially in the respective parting plane between the adjacent filter plates - is a filter cloth. Through the filling shoes in each case the filter chamber above the filter cloth is acted upon by a medium.
- a medium to be filtered - the "cloudy” - is fed under pressure through the filling shoes and pressed through the filter cloth to the filter chambers, whereupon the solids load of the medium is deposited on the filter cloth as a "filter cake”.
- the filtered medium (filtrate) flows below the filter cloth through an outflow from the filter chambers.
- the filling shoe is a comparatively highly loaded component.
- the structural design of a filling shoe must therefore facilitate its replacement as possible.
- a filling shoe which is receivable with a perpendicular to the dividing plane nozzle in the upper filter plate and is supported in the filter operation - ie with the filter chamber closed - on the lower filter plate.
- the nozzle has a long stretches oval cross-section.
- the known filling shoe is screwed to the upper filter plate.
- This screwing is - also this is well known - either from the edge of the upper filter plate by means of screws that are accessible from the outside or from the filter chamber.
- screws To screw from the edge of the filter plate very long lag screws are required when screwed from the inside, the screws must be resistant to the filtered medium. In both cases, the gland requires a very careful selection of materials.
- the screws which due to the lack of space in relation to their length must be comparatively thin, break or tear frequently.
- the filling shoes of this type which are released when the filter chamber is opened, fall out of the upper filter plate and are disposed of together with the filter cake.
- the required loosening of the screw delays the change of the filling shoe, especially if this takes place from the interior of the filter chamber and the Wech- be performed without complete disassembly of the plate stack with only slightly apart driven filter plates.
- the invention has for its object to suggest a method for holding a filling shoe for a filter chamber and appropriately designed filling shoes and filter plates that avoid accidental release of the filling shoe from the upper filter plate in particular falling out when opening the filter chamber, but no separate means for Holder, in particular require no screws.
- the object is achieved according to the invention in that the filling shoe is tilted when opening the filter chamber in the recording. Tilting describes a situation of the filling shoe in the receptacle, which is characterized by two clamping forces acting in opposite directions, which cause stiction in their points of application on the filling shoe and thus prevent a change in position of the filling shoe.
- the tilted with the filter chamber open in the upper filter plate filling shoe is thus secured against unintentional release of the filling shoe from the upper filter plate, in particular falling out is avoided.
- the change in position of the filling shoe which leads to its tilting in the receptacle in the upper filter plate when opening the filter chamber, can be effected in particular by the weight of the filling shoe, which exerts a downward force on the filling shoe by means of gravitational acceleration.
- This weight then causes a moment on the filling shoe about an axis that is parallel to the parting plane between the lower and upper filter plate when a second, opposing force - for example, a component of frictional force between the filling shoe and the receptacle in the upper filter plate - a Having compared to the weight shifted line of action.
- the weight of a flexible membrane partially resting on the top of the filling shoe can act on the filling shoe in the manner described when opening the filter chamber.
- the object is achieved according to the invention by a filling shoe, which is halterbar in the manner described in a filter plate.
- the tilting of the filling shoe is facilitated by a playful fit of the filling shoe in the receptacle in the filter plate. If the filling shoe is tilted under a weight force, in particular a fit is advantageous, which allows a pivoting of the filling shoe (by a small angle) in the receptacle about a horizontal axis.
- a filling shoe according to the invention preferably has a neck, inclined relative to the parting plane in the direction of the edge of the upper filter plate and can be received in the receptacle in the upper filter plate.
- a spigot is understood to mean a stretched element of the filling shoe that is completely absorbable in the receptacle of the upper filter plate. An element completely accommodated in another component makes it particularly easy to tilt.
- the positive engagement of the inclined relative to the parting line nozzle prevents in the recording in the upper filter plate prevents in filtration operation with the filter chamber closed and a displacement of the filling shoe in a direction of the parting plane.
- Channels for guiding the slurry are preferably passed through the nozzle, since here - since it is completely enclosed by the filter plate - leakage currents can be avoided particularly easily and effectively by means of sealants.
- the nozzle is cylindrical, thus has a constant cross section along a straight axis.
- a nozzle - in particular with an elongated, for example elliptical cross section - is particularly suitable to ensure a reliable defined position of the filling shoe in the filter plate in the filtration operation of the press.
- an elliptically shaped nozzle also offers the possibility of arranging several channels next to one another, thus ensuring a large cross-sectional area and a high volume flow of the incoming turbid.
- a nozzle with slightly decreasing cross-section for example in the form of a truncated cone.
- the assembly and disassembly of the filling shoe according to the invention is facilitated.
- a nozzle with, for example, slightly horn-shaped curved or slightly helical winding axis Such shaped nozzles tilt easier than comparable, straight nozzle of the same length, but require increased care during assembly and disassembly.
- the production of the correspondingly shaped receptacle in the filter plate suitable for such a filling shoe also requires a greater outlay.
- the neck of a filling shoe according to the invention preferably has a chamfer.
- a filling shoe according to the invention preferably has a peripheral groove in which a sealing element can be received.
- a sealing element for example an O-ring made of rubber-prevents leakage of the medium fed to the filter chamber past the filling shoe and, on the other hand, increases the adhesion of the filling shoe in the receptacle in the upper filter plate.
- the object is also achieved by a filter plate in which a filling shoe according to one of the described methods, in particular one of the filling shoes described can be held.
- the receptacle of the filter plate according to the invention is arranged between a circumferential groove around the filter chamber and the edge of the filter plate, wherein in the groove an edge bead of a flexible membrane can be accommodated, by means of which a Pressstoffraum of the filter chamber is liquid-tight separable.
- the weight of the membrane When opening the filter chamber, the weight of the membrane then acts only on the radially relative to the filter plate inside lying part of the filling shoe. Relative to the axis of the nozzle is thus an asymmetric application of force causing the tilting.
- FIG. 1 shows a sectional view through a filling shoe according to the invention, which is received according to the invention in a filter plate according to the invention and
- FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the same filling shoe.
- the filling shoe 1 according to the invention made of PP has a flattened outlet 2 on both sides and a nozzle 3 attached obliquely thereto.
- the neck 3 has a substantially constant cross section along a not shown straight axis.
- a slight chamfer 5 connects, which in turn adjoins a circumferential groove 6, in which a sealing element 7 is accommodated in the form of an O-ring made of PE.
- In the interior of the filling shoe 1 run parallel from the end face 4 of the nozzle 3 to the end face 8 of the spout 2 five channels 9, each having a circular cylindrical cross-section.
- the filling shoe 1 is inserted into a receptacle 10 of a filter plate 11.
- the receptacle 10 is adapted to the shape of the nozzle 3, but has a light, not shown game against this.
- the filter press also not shown, is horizontal.
- directed filter plate 11 is part of a plate stack, not shown, of substantially identical filter plates 11. Between the filter plate 11 and a lower filter plate, not shown, a filter chamber 12 is formed. Substantially along the parting plane 13 between the filter plates 11 is a not shown filter cloth. Above the filling element, an edge bead 14 of a flexible membrane 15 is received in a groove 16 surrounding the filter chamber 12 in the filter plate 11. The membrane 15 separates above the filter chamber 12 a pressing agent chamber 17 from this liquid-tight.
- the filling shoe 1 In filter operation of the filter press - ie with the filter chamber 12 closed - the filling shoe 1 is supported on the lower filter plate.
- the filter chamber 12 is acted upon via an inlet, not shown, which is accommodated in the inlet 18, through the channels 9 of the filling shoe 1 with a likewise not shown turbulence.
- the filling shoe 1 is - as shown in Figure 1 - upwards flat on the membrane 15 and this in turn next to the edge bead 14 directly to the filter plate 11 at.
- a filter cake again not shown, deposits on the filter cloth.
- the filter plates 11 of the plate stack are moved apart and the filter chambers 12 are opened.
- the membrane 15 presses down the outlet 2 of the filling shoe 1.
- the neck 3 is thereby slightly pivoted about an axis perpendicular to the section according to FIG. 1 and tilted in the receptacle 10.
- the lifting can be supported by a lever tool which is attached to a specially provided recess 19 between the filling shoe 1 and filter plate 11.
