Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Verbinden von Bauteilen aus duktilem Gusseisen und aus duktilem Gusseisen und Stahl mittels Lichtbogenschweißen mit abschmelzender Elektrode unter Schutzgas. Im Schutzgas ist dabei neben Argon 1 bis 25 Vol.-% Kohlendioxid und/oder 0,5 bis 10 Vol.-% Sauerstoff enthalten. Ferner kann das Schutzgas Stickstoffmonoxid enthalten. Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren ermöglicht hohe Schweißgeschwindigkeiten und damit eine hohe Produktivität. Um die Nahtqualität noch weiter zu verbessern ist ferner ein Vorwärmen der Bauteile sowie ein verlangsamtes Abkühlen oder eine Nachbehandlung von Vorteil.
