Abstract

An optical media storage (10) of a selected format that is to be read by an optical reader and comprising a substrate (10) having a first surface and an opposite second surface where the first surface has a data structure formed thereon which includes an anomoly region (12) configured to generate one or more errors when read by the optical reader, a fingerprint region (114) corresponding to a target hash value, a program region (10) corresponding to an executable application program which incorporates a hashing algorithm, a metallic reflective layer (10) disposed over the data structure, and a protective layer (10) disposed over the reflective layer.
