The invention relates to a device for hydrodynamic entangling for the preferably binder-free solidification of the fibers of a fiber web made of natural and / or artificial fibers of any kind, consisting of a) a first endless belt supporting the fiber web, which is guided and deflected between at least two rollers, b) an associated needling drum, which is assigned at least one nozzle bar parallel to the axis over the working width, c) at least one further nozzle bar, the water jets of which are directed against the back of an endless belt and through the endless belt against the fiber web at least for wetting the same, d) the first endless belt a second endless belt, likewise tensioned between at least two rollers, is assigned in the opposite direction, the working strand lying opposite the working strand of the first endless belt rotating in the same direction as that of the first endless belt, e) the two work Itstrums of the two endless belts are conically directed towards each other in their longitudinal extent, so that the fiber web lying on the working strand of the first endless belt is increasingly compressed between the leading endless belts, up to an at least compression line running across the fiber web, at which the endless belts with the one in between lying fiber web lie against each other, f) the first or second endless belt is pressed by two rollers against the needling drum of the second or first endless belt, preferably also for stronger wrapping of the needling drum of both endless belts, and 2. Between these two rollers, the nozzle bar for wetting the fiber web is directed against the fiber web, which is kept compressed between the two endless belts.
A device of this type is known from EP-A-0 859 076. It has the advantage that the voluminous fleece arriving on an endless belt for needling water is compressed between the needling drum and the belt and at the same time is wetted by a first water curtain from the nozzle bar, the water jets of which first flow through the endless belt and then through the fiber web and ultimately through the needling drum. The device also has the advantage that the voluminous fiber web between the two endless belts is slowly and gradually compressed with uniform pressure from above and below without shear stress, and only when it is firmly held between the two endless belts, possibly over a longer pressing distance, is wetted.
The known device optimally fulfills the task of slowly compressing the fibrous web consisting of loose fibers that are not consolidated with one another and also the upstream wetting in the pressed state. However, since the fibrous web is compressed and wetted in this loose state, individual fibers remain in the compressing endless belt after wetting, or at least after detaching from the fibrous web to be further needled, which pollute the band and ultimately hinder a permanent optimal treatment of the following fiber web lengths , It is possible to assign a cleaning device to the free-running endless belt, but this is complex and cost-intensive.
Starting from the device mentioned at the outset, the object of the invention is to find a device with which the cleaning of the continuous belt from the fluff takes place automatically during the treatment and at the same time the detachment of the fiber web from the continuous belt is advantageously influenced.
The nozzle bar arranged between the rollers guiding the endless belt is arranged and aligned there in such a way that the water jets of this nozzle bar only hit the fiber web behind the compression line or area in the transport direction of the fiber web. This arrangement of the nozzle bar in the device frame causes the unchanged effective wetting of the pressed fiber web, but at the same time the fiber web is detached from the pressing endless belt by the water jets, the fiber web is pressed by the wetting water against the further transporting needling drum and at the same time the endless belt is possibly Otherwise, any remaining fibers are rinsed free and these fibers are fed back into the fiber structure.
The fibrous web should therefore not be wetted if it is held in a form-fitting manner by both endless belts, but only shortly thereafter when the two endless belts move away from one another on the top and bottom. The separation line of the two endless belts from each other should be only a few cm before the point of impact of the water jets, about 20 to 50 mm, in order to achieve problem-free wetting.
Es zeigt:A device of the type according to the invention is shown as an example in the drawing. It shows:
Fig. 1 in der Seitenansicht aus einer größeren Anlage eine Kompaktier- Vernadelungseinrichtung, bei der eine Umlenkwalze des ersten Endlosbandes als Benetzungstrommel und gleichzeitig als Vernadelungstrommel ausgebildet ist, und das zweite Endlosband mit dem Netzungs-Düsenbalken oberhalb zugeordnet ist, Fig. 2 eine Ausschnittvergrößerung von Fig. 1 im Bereich der Netz- und1 is a side view from a larger system of a compacting needling device, in which a deflecting roller of the first endless belt is designed as a wetting drum and at the same time as a needling drum, and the second endless belt is associated with the wetting nozzle bar above, FIG. 2 is an enlarged section of Fig. 1 in the field of network and
Needling drum and FIG. 3 again an enlarged detail of FIG. 2 in the area of the point of impact of the water jets at the wetting point.
A compacting water needling device with only one needling drum 2 is shown in a frame 1. It corresponds essentially to the disclosure of FIG. 1 according to EP-A-0 859 076. This unit is normally the first unit of a larger water needling system for a loose fiber web, in which several additional needling drums, which are wrapped in a meandering shape and with which the fiber web is then processed on both sides, can follow.
Basically, this unit consists of a first endless belt 3, which is deflected and held under tension by a plurality of rollers 2, 5 rotatably arranged in a holding frame 4. An initially voluminous fibrous web 7 to be needled runs on this endless belt in the direction of arrow 6. It can also be a fibrous web which initially has no strength and is thus deposited directly onto the endless belt 3 by a card, not shown. In this exemplary embodiment, the roller 2 is designed as the needling drum. This means that it is larger in diameter and designed as a permeable drum, which is at least at the water contact points under suction (arrows 8).
The first endless belt 3 is assigned a second endless belt 9 in the opposite direction in such a way that the working strand 3 'of the first endless belt 3 is opposite the working strand 9' of the second endless belt, where the strands 3 ', 9' run in the same direction and conically in this area to run. In the second endless belt 9, this is in turn effected by a plurality of rollers 10-12 ′ which are rotatably mounted on the holding frame 13 fastened to the frame 1.
Two of the rollers of the second endless belt 9, namely the rollers 11 and 12 ', are directly assigned to the needling drum 2 of the first endless belt 3. This means that the rollers 11 and 12 'press the tensioned endless belt 9 against the endless belt 3 with the fiber web 7 and then everything together against the needling drum 2. For this purpose, they are arranged close to each other and leave only about enough space between them that the nozzle bar 14 can be advanced to the endless belt 9. In this way, the fiber web 7 delivered and carried by the strand 3 'of the endless belt 3 is not only slowly compressed between the endless belts 3 and 9, but also over the distance y between the two endless belts 3, 9 and then in the area x to the needling drum 2 pressed. In this pressing state, the fibrous web 7 is wetted by means of the water bar 14 and can then be needled further. In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1, this takes place immediately on this needling drum 2, in that the endless belt 9 is removed upwards by means of the roller 12 ′, so that the top of the fiber web 7 is freed from the endless belt 9. The needling drum 2 is then assigned two axially parallel two needling nozzle bars 15, 16 in the drain area of the drum, which ensure a first interlacing of the fibers. Supported by the endless belt 3, the fiber web is then transported further and delivered to the further treatment element 17 and thus also released from the endless belt 3.
The same principle is maintained if - as disclosed in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3 of EP-A-0 859 076 - the needling drum 2 is a deflecting roller of the second endless belt 9 and the fiber web 7 is wetted upwards from the first endless belt 3 ,
The present FIG. 1 differs from FIG. 1 according to EP-A 0 859 076 only slightly by changing the arrangement of the deflecting roller 12 'with respect to the roller 11 and / or needling drum 2. The more precise arrangement is shown in FIG 2 out. So far, both endless belts 3 and 9 have been guided a longer distance around the needling drum 2 by means of the deflecting rollers and have been wetted with the water jets of the nozzle bar 14 approximately in the middle of this distance. This distance is reduced according to FIG. 2 to the pressing area x, which of course begins just behind the deflecting roller 11, but now ends before the point of impact of the water jets 18. The exact situation is shown in Fig. 3. By moving the deflecting roller 12 'back, the upper endless belt 9 tends to detach itself from the needling drum 2, namely on the line 19, so that the original pressing pressure no longer acts on the fibrous web 7 when wetting with the water jets 18. Before the wetting, the endless belt 9 lifts slightly from the top of the fiber web, with the result that the fiber web is still held on both sides by the endless belts 3, 9, but is not pressed, the water jets will wetting the fiber web unchanged, the endless belt 9 free from attached fibers, return these remaining fibers into the fiber composite of the fiber web 7 and finally press the fiber web 7 to the needling drum 2, deliver it to the latter without a longitudinal tension on the fiber web 7 being able to occur. The point of wetting of the fibrous web 7 held between the endless belts 3, 9 is thus placed outside the press section x, the distance from the end 19 of the press section to the impact of the water jets 18 from the nozzle bar 14 is approximately 20-50 mm, preferably 30 mm. Of course, the measure can also differ slightly from this data.
