Abstract

L'invention concerne un système fonctionnel de collecte de données concernant l'audience et la recherche liée à l'audience de télévision dans un groupe de foyers. On enregistre les données sur une période établie dans une mémoire locale d'unité distante de collecte, puis on transmet ces données à une station centrale via un réseau téléphonique cellulaire local. A la réception des données, la station centrale élabore un classement des unités distantes de manière à fournir des rapports d'audience de minute en minute, de quart d'heure en quart d'heure, d'heure en heure, ou sur une autre période requise, et aussi de manière à classer et trier les réponses émanant des foyers.
