Abstract

The invention relates to sun visor systems compatible with the deployment of a front airbag and ensuring adequate blocking of solar radiation. According to a variant, a folded or sliding sunshade with multiple panels is described, which can be stored in a compact module at the front or at the rear relative to a high airbag, without hampering the deployment thereof. According to another variant, roller-type or pivoting screen-type sun visors are described which do not hinder the deployment of the airbag. According to other variants, sun visors fixed to the windscreen uprights are described, which makes it possible to fix the sun visor mount at a point which does not hinder the deployment of a high front airbag. According to still other variants, the sun visor can be mounted directly on the airbag module or else on a deflection plate fixed to this module.
