Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Heizelement (1) mit einem flächigen Heizwiderstand (2) und zwei langgestreckten Kontaktbereichen (4, 4'), welche voneinander beabstandet am Heizwiderstand (2) angeordnet sind und welche die zu beheizende Fläche (6, 6') des Heizwiderstandes (2) im wesentlichen zwischen sich haben. Es ist vorgesehen, dass das Heizelement (1) mindestens einen Standard-Bereich (8, 8') und mindestens einen Sonder-Bereich (10) hat, in denen der Abstand (12, 13) der Kontaktbereiche (4, 4') voneinander verschieden ist, dass das Heizelement (1) mindestens einen Sperrbereich (16, 16') hat, der den Standard-Bereich (8, 8') und den Sonderbereich (10) elektrisch voneinander isoliert, und dass im Sonder-Bereich (10) die elektrische Leitfähigkeit des Heizwiderstandes (2) von der des Standard-Bereiches (8, 8') verschieden ist.
