Abstract

An apparatus for managing user profile comprising an action model generating section (520) for modeling the action of a user through the Internet (200) as an action model, and a user profile updating section (540) for grouping the users depending on the similarity of the action model, deducing the user profile of a specific user using the profile of other users and then updating the profile of the specific user to the deduced user profile.
