Abstract

L'invention porte sur la préparation d'un matériau (10) protecteur et décoratif pour garnitures intérieures (10) offrant une très bonne finition des détails ainsi qu'une intégrité structurelle, et se présentant sous forme d'un profilé moulé de garniture. A cet effet, on forme un composite stratifié (10) sur un substrat (14) de polyoléfine, puis une surface texturée et une bande de papier (12) texturant, puis on retire la bande de papier (12) pour révéler la surface texturée. Le composite (10) peut être fixé par contact à un profilé extrudé de garniture de porte ou à d'autres pièces dans une matrice de formage par extrusion et par passage dans un tunnel de durcissement après l'extrusion, ou par tout autre moyen adéquate. La bande de papier (12) est retirée de préférence avant la fixation au profilé extrudé de garniture de porte. Dans une exécution, le matériau en feuille à face décorative (10) est formé sur un substrat idoine (14) en mettant en contact un polymère thermodurcissable avec une feuille (16) estampée pelable. Le matériau en feuille à face décorative (10) élimine le PVC et ses problèmes associés de migration des plastifiants et de fragilité. De plus, les matériaux de l'invention sont recyclables et plus légers que le PVC.
