By virtue of this fact, the portions 1 and 2 of the manufactured article have the appearance of two portions knitted with two different gauges.
  • This effect which can be likened to a diversification of the gauge, allows to use, for producing the portions that appear to be obtained with a coarser gauge, threads having a considerably higher count than the threads usable with the gauge of the machine itself, since by virtue of the fact that the knitting in that region is produced by using needles that are mutually spaced by a greater extent than the spacing entailed by the gauge of the machine, it allows to loop threads with a higher count.

Abstract

Cette invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'articles tricotés, en particulier d'articles de bonneterie (4), faisant appel à une seule machine à tricoter utilisée pour tricoter des articles de bonneterie ou autres, en particulier une machine circulaire, lesquels articles comprennent des parties tricotées de différentes manières avec un effet de diversification semblable à celui obtenu avec une variation de jauge. Ce procédé comprend une première étape consistant à fabriquer au moins une première partie (1) de l'article à l'aide, pour chaque rang de tricot ou partie de rang de tricot, d'un certain nombre d'aiguilles par unité de longueur, calculé sur l'extension rectiligne du porte-aiguille ; et au moins une seconde étape consistant à fabriquer une seconde partie (2) de l'article à l'aide, pour chaque rang de tricot ou partie de rang de tricot, d'un certain nombre d'aiguilles par unité de longueur, calculé sur l'extension rectiligne du porte-aiguille, lequel nombre d'aiguilles est différent du nombre d'aiguilles utilisées par unité de longueur dans la première étape.
