Abstract

Liquid pharmaceutical compositions stored in glass containers, (particularly of blood plasma proteins such as albumin) having a shelf-life in excess of 18 months; over which time the aluminium content is maintained below 200 micrograms per litre. This is achieved by silicone-coating the glass container. Also the particles/ml post-autoclave and post-pasteurisation are kept to low levels.
