  • Rotation of the shafts in the hanging rods 15 which freely move up, down and swing in the guides 16, enables the wire loops on the shafts to shake the plant twigs and leaves well from the soil upwards, yet without damaging them, where potato beetles fall into the strainer 23, and through the wholes 23a into the receptacle 24, where the strainer destroys them by crushing. Potato beetles that hit the side curtains 25 also fall into the strainer and the receptacle, so that none of them falls onto the soil.

Abstract

La présente invention a trait à une machine pour la collecte et l'élimination de doryphores, comportant des ensembles (A) et (B), reliés l'un à l'autre par des bielles (28) et (29). Chaque ensemble comporte une roue transporteuse (2), une roue motrice (3), des poulies (8) et (12) auxquelles sont reliées des arbres (9) et (13) à l'aide de boucles métalliques. Les roues transporteuses entraînent les arbres par l'intermédiaire des roues motrices (4), des courroies d'entraînement (11) et des courroies de liaison (14) de sorte que les boucles métalliques secouent les plants de pomme de terre depuis le sol vers le haut, éjectant ainsi les doryphores dans des passoires (23) et les réceptacles (24) où les passoires les éliminent en les écrasant. Lors du déplacement vers l'avant de la machine, les arbres dans les ensembles (A) et (B) tournent dans des directions opposées pour saisir les rameaux et les feuilles depuis le sol vers le haut. La machine est construite de manière à permettre un réglage facile de la distance entre les rangées de plants de pommes de terre et entre les sommets des plantes. La machine peut être déplacée manuellement, ou peut être équipée d'un moteur autonome, ou peut être fixée à d'autres machines agricoles pour des plantations de plus grande taille. La machine peut être utilisée pour l'élimination d'autres animaux nuisibles ainsi que sur différents types de plantes.
