Abstract

The invention relates to a method for computer assisted identification of electronic labels which are located on certain good carriers in a self-service shop. The method is characterised by the use of a transportable personal computer wherein certain data for identifying labels is downloaded from an external computer by data transfer and said data is subsequently transferred to the labels from the personal computer, also via data transfer.
