Abstract

Des secteurs verticaux (20) d'une paroi latérale d'un creuset de four à induction sont assemblés à une position réglable et invariable par des vis (36) engagées dans des taraudages d'une bride (34) commune à tous les secteurs. On réalise ainsi un assemblage précis et qui ne produit ni déformations ni contraintes internes. Les secteurs sont couverts d'un revêtement de céramique pour les protéger et empêcher la formation d'arcs électriques. Les arêtes de jonction des faces (28, 29) sont arrondies avec le même effet. Les boîtes à eau de refroidissement de la sole inférieure du four sont construites de la même manière. L'invention s'applique aux techniques de vitrification.
