Abstract

L'invention concerne des systèmes et des techniques permettant de dériver des objets virtuels pendant l'exécution à partir d'objets stockés dans une couche persistante. De manière générale, dans un mode de réalisation, la technique consiste à recevoir en provenance d'une application requérante une demande concernant un objet cible, à déterminer si un lien delta est associé à l'objet cible, ce lien delta contenant un emplacement de l'objet cible et des informations concernant une différence souhaitée entre l'objet cible et un objet dérivé à renvoyer à l'application requérante, à localiser l'objet cible et générer un objet dérivé à partir de l'objet cible et des informations contenues dans le lien delta, puis à renvoyer l'objet dérivé à l'application requérante. L'objet cible et l'objet dérivé peuvent comprendre un certain nombre d'éléments, notamment des paires nom-valeur, ou 'propriétés', ou un certain nombre d'objets enfants dans une hiérarchie d'objets.
