Owing to the invention, the adhesive surfaces and the sealing frame are thus replaced with one single substance and a fastening reat- ment of the lens.

- a sealing joint also made of the same plastic material is further formed at the edge of the cover 2, a waterproof and dustproof mobile phone is achieved. All of the TPE plastic materials mentioned above can be fastened to the cover 3 in one and the same process step. The costs for manufacturing the front cover of the mobile phone are notable reduced compared to prior art manufacturing costs.

Abstract
Procédé de fabrication de la partie de couverture (2) d'un boîtier pour téléphones portables selon lequel un verre de protection (1) destiné à l'afficheur (5) est fixé à la partie de couverture de boîtier à l'aide d'un liant (3) mou et élastique tel que de la matière élastomère thermoplastique, cette matière formant en même temps une surface d'étanchéification (4) entre la partie de couverture (2) et l'afficheur (5).
