Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant de transmettre des flux de données dans des terminaux de télécommunication (TE), comprenant une première interface (2) pour produire un flux de données orienté paquets, au moins une seconde interface (3, 4) pour produire un flux de données orienté ligne ou paquets, ainsi qu'un dispositif de chaînage (1) pour enchaîner les flux de données. Ledit dispositif de chaînage (1) présente une unité d'accès aux interfaces (7) permettant d'enchaîner directement les flux de données. Ce système permet de décharger sensiblement une unité de commande (5) et d'améliorer la performance du système dans son ensemble.
