Abstract
The invention comprises a system (10) and method for measuring the transfer function (TFA) of a transformer (20) across one or more frequency bands to detect changes in the physical state of the transformer. The process of measurement may be speeded up by taking a select number of measurements at discrete points across a frequency band. Using standard components, a system may be configured which is field portable and rugged.
