Description

COMMUNICATION SERVICE SYSTEM AND METHOD USING A SINGLE TELEPHONE NUMBER AND E- MAIL ADDRESS
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a communication service system and a method of the same, and in particular to a communication service system using a single telephone number and electronic main address and a method of the same which are capable of integrally managing a voice and data communication by providing all directors and staff of a certain company which uses an exclusive communication network for a voice and data communication in the interiors of a plurality of local and abroad business sites for thereby performing a voice and data communication with a local and abroad business site through a single telephone number and electronic mail address by a corresponding director as well as with external telephone and computer users.
2. Description of the Background Art
Recently, a service which is implemented as another service in the same field such as voice re-selling service, internet telephone, and call-back service is called as a privileged communication service as a communication market is opened based on a basic communication negotiation of the WTO(World Trade Organisation).
The privileged communication service is a kind of an information communication system in which various good quality information communication services are provided at economical and reasonable prices to a customer compared to a conventional key communication company by buying and renting a communication facility or a service from a conventional key communication company, providing an additional service to a customer and selectively using an additional service through a network. In a view of a communication business company expedites and reinforce a competitiveness based on a development of a market. In addition, in a view of customer, it is possible to decrease a service charge and increase the quality of service. In a view of the nation, the local information communication network is developed. Recently, the companies do not limit their business ranges to a certain region or a certain nation but expand their business ranges to many countries. As the business is expanded, the use of the communication instrument such as a telephone and fax machine is increased, so that the costs related to the communication are increased.
Many companies try to save a local and abroad communication cost used by the directors and staff and install an exclusive communication network for an efficient voice and data communication between local and abroad business sites. However, in almost companies which install the exclusive communication network, a communication network use efficiency is not high(about 150%), and the costs required for operating the exclusive communication network are fixed. In the case that the exclusive communication network is expanded, a non-efficiency is more increased, and a communication cost and operational cost are sharply increased. In addition, in order to implement a more stable service compared to when the exclusive communication network is used, a compression equipment, management equipment, etc. should be continuously upgraded. In addition, the number of staff who perform a maintenance of the exclusive communication network should be increased, so that a lot cost for a communication infrastructure is needed. In addition, there is a limit for decreasing the cost for a communication of company staff and directors.
In addition, since the protocols between the voice communication and the data communication are different, it is impossible to combine and operate together the voice and data communications based on an exclusive communication network in a view of a corresponding company. In the case of the electronic mail, since the resource of the electronic main address is lack, and the domains by the nation are different, there is a limit for using the electronic mails through the integrated domains by all staff and directors. In addition, it is impossible to efficiently use the data communication due to the lack of an expert in a data security and international authentication. When a staff or director of a corresponding company is transferred , since the telephone number or electronic mail address used by a transferring staff or director must be changed, the cost is increased. In addition, in the case of a staff or director working in a cooperative section such as a sale or purchase section, when the telephone number or electronic main address are changed, it is needed to inform the changed information to each customer for thereby causing much inconvenience. In the case that a corresponding staff or director is not contacted, a certain loss may occur due to a disconnection of the work. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a communication service system using a single telephone number and electronic main address and a method of the same which are capable of integrally managing a voice and data communication by providing a single telephone and electronic mail address to all staff and directors in a certain company which uses an exclusive communication network for a voice and data communication in the interior of each business site which includes a plurality of business sites in a local and abroad region for thereby implementing an efficient voice and data communication with a local and abroad business site and an external telephone and computer users even when a staff or director resides in a certain place in the local or abroad sites.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
The preferred embodiments of a communication service system using a single telephone number and electronic mail address and a method of the same according to the present invention will be explained with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Figure 1 is a block diagram illustrating the construction of a communication service system using a single telephone number and electronic mail address according to the present invention.
As shown therein, a local and international network communication network 10 is a network for performing a contract between a nation-by privileged service provider and international telephone network communication service provider for providing a communication service using a single telephone number and electronic mail address for thereby connecting a communication line of a staff and director working in a local and abroad business site of a certain company and an external customer outside the business site and a voice and data communication therebetween.
A plurality of business site communication centres 20 are installed in a local and abroad business site of a certain company and store a single telephone number and e-mail address provided to a staff and director of a corresponding business site and an information concerning the local and abroad business sites in which a corresponding staff and director work and implement a voice and data communication between a user of an internal or external terminal 40 and 50 and a corresponding staff and director in the case that a corresponding staff or director is currently in the business site when the voice and data communication of the users of the internal or external terminals 40 and 50 are requested. In addition, a plurality of business site communication centres 20 implement a voice and data communication with a corresponding staff or director who work in a certain business site except for the local site, through a local and international network communication 10 through the metro communication centre 30 which will be explained later for integrally managing a plurality of local or abroad business site communication centres 20 connected using an exclusive line.
At this time, the staff and directors which received a single telephone number and e-mail address from a privileged service provider which includes a metro communication centre 30 and operates the same must provide an information concerning a local and abroad business site which will be changed, to a business site communication centre 20 of a previous working site before the staff or director is transferred to the changed working site, so that other staff or directors who use the internal terminal 40 or the users of the external terminal 50 efficiently perform a voice or data communication with a corresponding staff or director using the same telephone number of e-mail address even when the staff or directors are transferred. It is preferred that a corresponding staff or director directly provides an information of a local and abroad business site based on the transferred business site of a corresponding staff and director. The privileged communication service provider may periodically check the transfer state of all staff and directors and update the information of the business site and store the same.
The privileged communication service provider which includes and operates a plurality of business site communication centres 20 and the metro communication centre 30 requests a cost only in the case of the international telephone communication without additionally requesting the cost by transferring the voice and data communication between the staff and directors of a certain business site of a certain nation into an internal office telephone. In the case that a voice communication is requested with a certain staff or director by the use of the external terminal 50(including other staff or directors using the internal terminal 40), as a corresponding staff or director is moved to the abroad business site, when it is transferred to the international telephone connection, the cost is not requested to the user of the external terminal 50, but is requested to a corresponding service provider.
More than one metro communication centre 30 are installed in each nation in which there are the business sites of a certain company and are connected with a plurality of business site communication centres 20 installed in each business site of a corresponding nation through an exclusive line and stores a single telephone number and e-mail address provided to a staff and director of the business site of a corresponding nation and outputs a voice and data communication requesting signal of the users of the intemal or external terminal 40 and 50 to a certain business site communication centre 20 in which a corresponding staff or director resides based on a voice and data communication request of the users of the internal or external terminals 40 and 50 through the local and international communication network 10. The metro communication centres 30 connect the users of the internal or external terminals 40 and 50 who requested a voice and data communication with a corresponding staff or director of the other business site communication centre 20 of the local and abroad nations through the local and international network communication network 10 when a business site information of the other local and abroad sites in which a corresponding staff and director is positioned is inputted from a certain business site communication centre 20 for thereby performing a voice and data communication.
At this time, the local privileged communication service provider which installs and operates the metro communication centre 30 rents or uses based on the cooperation the metro communication centre 30 of the communication service provider of a corresponding nation of the business site of a certain company.
Figure 2 is a block diagram illustrating the construction of the metro communication centre 30 of Figure 1.
As shown therein, a switch unit 31 performs a routing operation for outputting a voice and data signal inputted by the users of the internal or external terminals 40 and 50 which use the voice and data communication to a terminal of a telephone, computer, etc. used by a certain staff or director and performs a routing operation for outputting a voice and data signal inputted by other staff or directors of the company or a certain staff or director who performs a voice and data communication with the user of the external terminal 50 to a corresponding internal or external terminals 40 and 50.
A compression/recovering unit 32 compresses a voice and data signal inputted from the switch unit 31 and outputs to the local and international network communication network 10 and recovers the compressed voice and data signals inputted from the local and international network communication network 10 and outputs to the switch unit 31.
A fire wall unit 33 protects a telephone number and e-mail address of a staff and directors of a certain company and the operation programs of a plurality of business site communication centres 20 from an external hacking.
A storing unit 34 stores a single telephone number and e-mail address provided to all staff and directors of a certain company having a local and abroad business site.
A billing unit 35 performs a local and international telephone communication rate computation and communication charge report, payment and nonpayment management, traffic analysis and communication characteristic analysis.
A packet management unit 36 determines a position of a data and a queue of a transmission and receiving and performs a data compression.

At this time, the back-up unit 37 includes an uninterrupted power supply(UPS) for maintaining a power of each business site communication centre 20 during a power failure, a battery bank for charging a power for a power failure and a back-up generator for performing an emergency power generation during a power failure of a supply power.
Since the construction of the business site communication centres 20 which perform an integration management in the metro communication centre 30 is similar with the construction of the previously described metro communication centre 30, the description thereof will be omitted.
The method of the communication service using a single telephone number and e-mail address according to the present invention will be explained with reference to Figures 3 through 7.
Figures 3 through 7 are flow charts illustrating an operation procedure of a communication service method using a single telephone number and e-mail address according to the present invention.
First, in a Step S1 , a privileged communication service provider makes a communication exclusive network with respect to a company having a plurality of business sites in the local and abroad regions. A business site communication centre 20 is installed for controlling all communication terminals such as a telephone, computer, etc. in each business site. A single telephone number and e-mail address is provided to all staff and directors of a corresponding company. A single telephone number and e-mail address provided to each staff and director is stored in a form of database. In a Step S1-1 , the privileged communication service provider makes a contract based on the use of a communication line for a voice and data communication with a communication service provider and international telephone network communication service provider by the nation. In a Step S1-2, the privileged communication service provider makes a communication exclusive network contract with respect to a certain communication company having a plurality of local and abroad business sites.
In a Step S1-3, the privileged communication service provider installs a plurality of business site communication centres 20 in each business sites of the local and abroad regions of a certain company which made the communication exclusive network contract. In a Step S1- 4, a single telephone number and e-mail address is provided to all local and abroad staff and directors of a certain company which made a communication exclusive contract.
In Step S1-5, the privileged communication service provider stores the single telephone number and e-mail address provided to all local and abroad directors in each business site communication centre 20 in a database form.
After the single telephone number and e-mail address provided to all staff and directors in the Step S1-5 are stored in the database form, the privileged communication service provider periodically receives a certain variation(new entrance, and retire of staff) of staff and directors from a corresponding company and updates the single telephone number and e-mail address. In a Step S2, the business site communication centre 20 is built in each business site by performing an exclusive communication network with respect to a certain company through the Step S1 , and then a single telephone number and e-mail address are provided to all staff and directors of a corresponding company. The privileged communication service provider installs more than one metro communication centre 30 capable of integrally managing a plurality of business site communication centres 20 installed in each business site by the nation of a certain company which made a contract of the exclusive communication contract.
In a Step S2-1 , the privileged communication service provider installs more than one metro communication centre 30 by the nation for integrally managing a plurality of business site communication centres 20 installed in the local and abroad business sites of a certain company which made a communication network contract. In a Step S2-2, an exclusive line is installed between the business site communication centres 20 by the nation and the metro communication centre 30 which integrally manage the same.
In a Step S2-3, the metro communication centre 30 installed in each nation is connected with the local and international network communication network 10 using a communication line installed by each nation communication service provider and international telephone line communication service provider which made a contract based on the use of the communication line.
In a Step S3, after the business site communication centre 20 is installed in each business site in the local and abroad regions with respect to a certain company through the Steps S1 and S2, and more than one metro communication centre 30 capable of integrally managing the business site communication centres 20 by the nation are installed, the privileged communication service provider controls a voice and data communication with the internal or external terminals 40 and 50 by the staff and directors of each business site communication centre 20 and a voice and data communication with the staff and directors of a certain company by the users of the external terminal 50 of each nation. In a Step S3-1 , the business site communication centre 20 installed in each business site in the side of the privileged communication service provider inputs a telephone number for requesting a voice and data communication with the other staff or director of the company or a user of the external terminal 50 using the internal terminal 40 such as a telephone or a computer by a staff or director of a corresponding business site communication centre 20 or judges whether an e-mail is made.
In a Step S3-2, when a certain staff or director inputs a telephone number or forms an e-mail, a corresponding business site communication centre 20 judges whether a telephone number ore-mail address inputted by a certain staff or director us a telephone number ore-mail address provided to a corresponding company or a telephone number of e-mail address of the external terminal 50.
In a Step S3-3, as a result of the judgement, in the case of the telephone number or e- mail address provided to a corresponding company, it is judged whether the telephone number or e-mail address inputted by a certain staff or director is a telephone number or e-mail address of the business site communication centre 20 of the same business site communication centre 20 or the same metro communication centre 30.
In a Step S3-4, as a result of the judgement, in the case of the telephone number or e- mail address of the other business site communication centre 20 of the same business site communication centre 20 or the same metro communication centre 30, the privileged communication service provider performs a voice and data communication with a corresponding staff or director by converting into an internal office telephone.
In a Step S3-5, as a result of the judgement of the Step S3-3, in the case that it is not the telephone number of e-mail address of the other business site communication centre 20 of the same business site communication centre 20 or the same metro communication centre 30, the privileged communication service provider outputs a voice or data communication request signal to the business site communication centre 20 of a corresponding staff and director through the metro communication centre 30 and the local and abroad international network communication network 10.
In a Step S3-6, as a result of the judgement of the Step S3-2, in the case that the telephone number or e-mail address inputted by a certain staff or director is not the telephone number or e-mail address provided to a corresponding company, the privileged communication service provider outputs a voice or data communication request signal of a certain staff or director to the user of the external terminal 50 through the metro communication centre 30 and the local and international network communication network 10 for thereby implementing a voice and data communication.
As a result of the judgement of the Step S3-1 , in a Step S3-7, if a staff or director of a certain company inputs a telephone number for a voice or data communication with the other staff or director of the company or a user of the external terminal 50 or does not form an e-mail, the privileged communication service provider judges whether the users of the external terminal 50 inputted a telephone number or e-mail address through the local and international network communication network 10 into the metro communication centre 30 installed in a corresponding nation. In a Step S3-8, when a telephone number or e-mail address are inputted by the user of the external terminal 50 for performing a voice or data communication with a certain staff or director, the metro communication centre 30 judges whether the telephone number or e-mail address inputted by the user of the external terminal 50 is the telephone number or e-mail address of the business site communication centres 20 connected with the metro communication centre 30.
In a Step S3-9, as a result of the judgement, in the case of the telephone number or e- mail address of the business site communication centres 20 connected with the metro communication centre 30, the privileged communication service provider implements a voice or data communication with a corresponding staff or director based on the telephone number or e-mail address inputted by the user of the external terminal 50.
In a Step S3-10, as a result of the judgement of the Step S3-8, in the case that the telephone number or e-mail address inputted by the user of the external terminal 50 is not the telephone ore-mail address of the business site communication centres 20 connected with the metro communication centre 30, the privileged communication service provider outputs a voice or data communication request signal to the business site communication centre 20 of a corresponding staff or director through the local and international network communication network 10 based on the information concerning the current local and abroad business site which is previously inputted by a corresponding staff or director without a user's additional operation of the external terminal 50.
In a Step 4, finally, after the voice and data communication with the users of the internal or external terminal 40 and 50 are performed by the staff and directors of each business site communication centre through the Step S3, and the voice and data communication are performed with the staff and directors of a certain company by the users of the internal or external terminals 40 and 50, the privileged communication service provider computes the local and abroad telephone rates and the costs related to the data communication maintenance used by a certain company based on the voice and data communication request by the staff or directors of the company and the users of the external terminal 50 and request the rates to a corresponding company, and a certain amount of the money is paid to each nation communication service provider and an international telephone network communication service provider for the use of the communication line.
In detail, in a Step S4-2, the privileged communication service provider computes the communication rates of a certain company based on the use of the local and international telephone communication performed by a voice and data communication requests of the staff and directors of the company and the users of the external terminal 50, and in a Step S4-2, computes the cost based on the data communication maintenance used by a certain company. In a Step S4-3, the privileged communication service provider judges whether the money request period(for example, one month) of the local and international telephone communication rates and data communication maintenance cost of the company which made a contract of the exclusive communication network is reached. As a result of the judgement, in a Step S4-4, the local and international rates and the data communication maintenance cost are requested to a corresponding company through the Steps S4-1 and S4-2.
In a Step S4-5, the privileged communication service provider which received the local and international communication rates and the data communication maintenance cost from a certain company pays a part of the money paid by the company to the communication service provider and the international telephone network communication service provider by the nation as the money for the use of the communication line.
As described above, in the communication service system using a single telephone number and e-mail address and a method of the same according to the present invention, the privileged communication service provider which has a communication infrastructure provides a single telephone number and e-mail address to all local and abroad staff and directors which work for a certain company for thereby integrally managing a voice and data communication. Therefore, it is possible to implement a good quality voice and data communication service at a lower cost without investing the money to an additional communication facility, software and managing manpower based on an exclusive communication network in a view of the company having a plurality of business sites. In addition, the staff and directors of the company are capable of using a single telephone number and e-mail address in the world, so that when the staff and directors of the company are transferred, it is not needed to change the telephone number and e-mail address of the transferring staff and directors for thereby preventing an additional cost.
In addition, in a view of the privileged communication service provider, since a contract is made with a certain company having a plurality of local and abroad business sites based on a three through 5 years long term contract, it is possible to implement a stable income resource and provide various services. A proper facility operation ratio is obtained by sharing a communication infrastructure and software, and it is possible to decrease the cost of the purchase.
As the present invention may be embodied in several forms without departing from the spirit or essential characteristics thereof, it should also be understood that the above-described embodiments are not limited by any of the details of the foregoing description, unless otherwise specified, but rather should be construed broadly within its spirit and scope as defined in the appended claims, and therefore all changes and modifications that fall within the meets and bounds of the claims, or equivalences of such meets and bounds are therefore intended to be embraced by the appended claims.
