Abstract

L'invention concerne un agencement dans un joint (1) de forme annulaire, permettant, lors de l'installation d'une prothèse de la hanche au moyen de ciment osseux contenu dans une seringue d'injection (3), de mettre ce ciment sous pression avant l'application de la prothèse dans le ciment. Ce joint (1) présente d'un côté une conduite traversante (2) pour une canule (3a) de la seringue d'injection de ciment osseux (3) et, de l'autre côté, un élément (1b) servant à définir une position prédéterminée pour l'embout de la canule (3b) par rapport à la surface du joint (1) opposée à celle du fourreau de l'acétabule. Au moyen de cet élément, on peut dans un même temps, avec la seringue d'injection (3), presser le joint (1) de manière qu'il entre en contact étanche avec le bord dudit fourreau. Ladite surface du joint (1) présente une empreinte (4), s'étendant de manière circulaire autour de l'ouverture (2a). Cette empreinte (4) comprend un élément écran (5), conçu pour s'appuyer contre le ligament acétabulaire lorsque le joint (1) est appliqué contre le bord du fourreau de l'acétabule.
