Beschreibungdescription
Gebiet der ErfindungField of the Invention
The invention relates to a coupling element of a coupling unit, which has an external tooth profile on an annular first section for positive engagement of a further coupling element.
Hintergrund der ErfindungBackground of the Invention
Coupling elements of this type are used in synchronized and non-synchronized clutch units of change gearboxes. They work there as intermediate rings in the synchronization or mainly as an element for the transmission of torques from a shift sleeve to a gear wheel of the transmission. Frequently, the aforementioned functions are also carried out in combination by such a coupling element.
A coupling element of the generic type is described in DE 39 01 501 A1. The coupling element is attached to a gearwheel as a coupling body in a change gear. For the engagement of a shift sleeve, the coupling body has a toothed profile on the outside on a ring-shaped section. In addition, the clutch body is provided with a cone, the friction surface of which participates in the synchronization. The individual teeth of the tooth profile are roof-like on the tooth head and have flank sections tapering towards the base of the tooth cross section. There are also similar before, mostly roof-shaped teeth in other examples of the applications mentioned, the tooth flanks of which are provided with pockets between the tooth head and tooth base. These pockets taper the cross-section at these points in comparison to the cross-section of the tooth head and the tooth base. Other teeth are provided with flanks on the flanks or the like, which widen the tooth cross section in sections into the tooth gaps. These stops are often provided as an axial path limitation for a counter-toothing engaging in the tooth profile, for example a gearshift sleeve. The tapering or bulging sections on the teeth are not accessible or in the way in the normal machining direction or demolding direction of the tools when using punching and / or forming processes for their manufacture. The manufacture of such tooth profiles is therefore relatively complicated.
Zusammenfassung der ErfindungSummary of the invention
The object of the invention is therefore to provide a coupling element of a coupling unit with which the aforementioned disadvantage is avoided.
This object is achieved according to the subject matter of claim 1. Thereafter, the annular first section of a coupling element of a coupling unit, which has a tooth profile on the outside, is formed from at least two disks. At least in sections, the disks lie against one another on the end faces and are fastened to one another. Complicated cross sections and shapes of the teeth and the toothing, in particular the tapering of the tooth cross section described at the beginning, are easier to achieve in two parts. The annular section is usually divided transversely to the central axis of the coupling element. The section of the tooth which is provided with bulges or the like on the flank side and widens the tooth cross section can be realized on one of the disks. The normal tooth profile is realized on the other disc. Only after assembling or consolidating the The teeth are completely formed on the disks. Much more complicated tooth profiles can be realized on a coupling element according to the invention. The ring-shaped section on which the tooth profile is formed is expediently divided between the tooth head and the tooth base in such a way that the tapering on the individual rings can be easily formed. One embodiment of the invention provides that each of the disks is provided on the outside with a portion of each tooth of the tooth profile, the tooth being divided transversely to the central axis of the coupling element.
A further embodiment of the invention provides for the disks to be embossed from sheet metal material and to be stamped and fastened to one another by means of at least one passage made from at least one of the disks from the sheet metal material, the passage engaging in a corresponding opening in the other disk and in or is deformed behind the opening. The sheet material is provided with one or more passages during the manufacture of the disks. The passage protrudes in the direction of the other pane when the panes are assembled and penetrates into and through an opening in the other pane. The opening is z. B. expanding away from the other pane, designed so that after squeezing the inserted free end of the passage on a wall section defining the opening, for example in the extension, a fixed connection of the two panes to one another is produced.
A further embodiment of the invention provides that at least one of the disks is adjoined by a second annular section at least to the first annular section. The second annular section is conically shaped radially on the outside. The second section with the cone can be manufactured separately from the first section and connected to it, or connects integrally to the first section. The conical surface is provided as a friction surface. Thus, the coupling element of this embodiment can be used on the one hand as an intermediate ring in a synchronizing device, but also on the other hand, as a preferred embodiment provides, as a clutch body on a gear wheel of a change gear.
The coupling body has external teeth for engaging a shift sleeve.

Detaillierte Beschreibung der ZeichnungDetailed description of the drawing
In Figure 1, a coupling element 1 of a coupling unit, not shown, is shown. The coupling element 1 is formed from an annular section 2. The section 2 has a tooth profile 3 on its outer diameter and is formed from a disk 4 and a disk 5. The Disks 4 and 5 are stamped and stamped parts. They lie against one another on the end face and are fastened to one another by means of a passage 6 and an opening 7 corresponding to the passage 6. The opening 7 is formed on the disc 4 and has a conical cross section. The passage 6 is displaced on the disk 5 by means of material displacement. A formation 5a was created on the disk 5, the volume of which corresponds to the volume of the material of the passage 6 which is immersed in the opening 7. The material of the passage 6 is deformed at the free end 6a, so that it lies against a conical wall section 4a delimiting the opening 7 and radially engages behind the wall section 4a of the disk 4 in the opening 7. The coupling element 1 is composed by the disks 4 and 5 in such a way that the portion of the tooth profile 3 which forms axial stops 3a is formed on the disk 4. The disc 5 has the proportion of the roof teeth 3b of the tooth profile 3.
FIG. 2 shows a further exemplary embodiment of a coupling element 8 according to the invention. The coupling element 8 is formed from a first section 8a and a second section 8b. The first section 8a is formed from a disk 9 and a disk 10. Each of the disks 9 and 10 has a portion 11a and 11b of each tooth of the tooth profile 11 on the outside. The portions 11a and 11b are formed by dividing the teeth on a plane X transversely to the central axis M (see FIG. 3). FIG. 3 shows the top view of an individual tooth 12 of the tooth profile 11. It can be seen that the tooth 12 is separated by the plane X in such a way that there are no undercuts when the individual parts 11a and 11b are formed during the production of the disks 9 and 10 gives. The disc 9 is an embossed stamped part. The disk 10 is formed by combined pulling and pressing and is provided with the annular second section 8 b of the coupling element 8. The second section 8b is conically shaped radially on the outside and in one piece with the disk 10. On the disc 10 is the material for forming several passages 13 by material displacement from the wall the disc 10 put through. The passage extends through an opening 14 in the disk 9. The opening 14 is punched and is delimited by a punch tear that extends radially outward from the opening 14. The passage 13 is deformed at its free end 13a in the area of the wall section 14a formed by the punched tear, in such a way that the disks 9 and 10 are non-detachably attached to one another. The coupling element 8 according to FIG. 2 can act as a coupling body on a gear wheel of a change gear. The tooth profile of the coupling element 8 is then an external toothing for the engagement of a shift sleeve, not shown.
