  • travel server 100 has access to the traveler profile, similarly notified hotels, for example, may make special accommodations, such as a preferred check-in or special meals.

  • preferred customer benefits for different service companies can be stored in the traveler profile so all potential appropriate benefits can be collated, properly accumulated, and potentially applied to the traveler's corresponding service company.
  • the different service companies additionally may be given traveler's electronic mail address, phone number, or the like, for direct communication with traveler 142.
  • traveler 142 may indicate in the traveler profile that certain notifications to certain secondary parties 160 may be permanently requested, or may only be requested for onetime events.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé pour la remise d'information d'itinéraire de voyage. En l'occurrence, un serveur de voyages (100) conserve en mémoire un itinéraire d'un voyageur (142) ainsi que des horaires de transporteurs aériens dans une mémoire de voyages (110). On utilise un canal de communication (104) pour transférer cette information. Le serveur de voyages (100) peut être géré par une agence de voyage (130) ou tout autre fournisseur de services de voyages (120). En règle générale, c'est le voyageur (142) qui fait ses réservations auprès d'une agence de voyages (130) via le canal de communication (144). Il revient alors à l'agence de voyage (130) de coordonner le serveur de voyages (100) pour échéancer un itinéraire destiné au voyageur (142). Lorsque l'itinéraire est confirmé, le voyageur (142) reçoit notification, via un système de radiomessagerie (150), des informations mises à jour concernant le vol tel que le terminal et la porte.
