Abstract

A card (1) holding printable tags (5) to make identification codes for cables and electric components comprises a plate-like support (2) of injection-moulded plastic material provided with shaped slits (4) delimiting tags (5) connected to at least one sprue (6) through frangible connecting portions (7). Each of said tags (5) has a printable surface and at least one connecting lug jutting out on a base side opposite to the printable surface, structured in such a manner that draw effects on the printable surface are prevented. Printing of the identification codes on the tag-holding card (1) comprises the steps of disposing the card (1) on an elastically yielding substrate (18) and submitting the tags (5) to a printing treatment by thermal transfer onto the respective printable surfaces.
