Abstract

The present invention relates to a bottle cover made fo synthetic resin which helps in easily pouring beverages filled in a bottle by completely opening the bottle cover and preventing the cover from being rotated left and right during its use. The present invention provides a bottle cover made so synthetic resin, which is formed integrally with a hanging ring outwardly inserted onto a bottleneck and is opened as the remaining parts except a connecting member are separated from the hanging ring, wherein the connecting member consists of two and are formed at the outside of a supporting flap extended from the cover, thereby the lower end of the cover is contacted with an outer circumferential surface of the bottleneck as the cover is opened so as to achieve complete opening and prevent bilateral movement thereof. By such a construction, the supporting flap supports the bottleneck by giving a predetermined elastic froce to the outer circumferential surface of the bottleneck, thereby achieving complete opening of the cover and at the same time preventing bilateral movement of the cover during the use thereof.

Description

BOTTLE COVER
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a bottle cover made of synthetic resin which helps in easily pouring beverages filled in a bottle by completely opening the bottle cover and preventing the cover from being rotated left and right during its use. More specifically, the present invention relates to a bottle cover made of synthetic resin which serves to completely open the cover by making the lower part of a supporting flap contacted to an outer circumferencial surface of a bottleneck, the supporting flap being provided inside a connecting member for connecting a hanging ring outwardly inserted onto the bottleneck and the cover which is separated from the hanging ring to thus be opened outwardly.
Background Art
Among commonly and widely used beverage bottles, a beverage bottle made of synthetic resin comprises a hanging ring 3 being fixed to a bottleneck 15 for preventing the loss of a cover 8, a cover 8 which is opened outwardly as it is separated from the hanging ring 3 and a connecting member 5 being integrally formed to a predetermined part of a contact portion between the hanging ring 3 and the cover 8. Since the cover 8 is connected integrally with the bottle, there is no possibility of losing the cover 8 even if it was in an open state.
However, the thus constructed beverage bottle has disadvantages. For example, the cover 8 is not fixed but moves left and right as the cover 8 is opened. Also, because the cover 8 remains near the outlet of the > beverage bottle, it blocks the outlet when pouring a beverage into a container or drinking it, thusly making the use of the bottle inconvenient. Disclosure of the Invention
The present invention has been made in an effort to solve the above problems.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a bottle cover made of synthetic resin which has a construction of preventing the cover from being rotated left and right or blocking an outlet when opening the bottle and using the same.
To achieve the above objects, the present invention provides a bottle cover, which is formed integrally with a connecting member disposed at a contact portion between a hanging ring outwardly inserted onto a bottleneck and a cover and is opened as the remaining parts except the connecting member are separated from the hanging ring, wherein the connecting member consists of two and are formed at the outside of a supporting flap extended from the cover, thereby the lower end of the cover is contacted with an outer circumferential surface of the bottleneck as the cover is opened so as to achieve complete opening and prevent bilateral movement thereof.
Hereinafter, the overall construction of this invention and the resultant specific effects will now be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Brief Description of the Drawings
Other objects and aspects of the present invention will become apparent from the following description of embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawing in which:
Fig. 1 is a front view illustrating the overall construction of a bottle cover according to the present invention; Fig. 2 is a perspective view illustrating the operation of the bottle cover according to the present invention; and
Fig. 3 is a front view illustrating the construction of a conventional bottle cover.
Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention Fig. 1 is a front view illustrating the overall construction of a bottle cover according to the present invention; and Fig. 2 is a perspective view illustrating the operation of the bottle cover according to the present invention. As illustrated therein, the bottle cover has an overall construction in which it is connected to a bottleneck 15 having a spiral portion 11 formed at an outer circumferential surface. The bottle cover comprises a hanging ring 3 being outwardly inserted onto a bottleneck 15 for preventing removal and a cover 8 being separated from the hanging ring 3 for preventing complete separation by means of a connecting member 5.
As illustrated in Fig. 1, the connecting member 5 joining the hanging ring 3 and the cover is accomplished by preparing a supporting flap 4 extended downwardly from the cover 8 at a portion connected with the hanging ring 3, which prevents removal of the cover 8 from the bottleneck 15, and providing two connecting members with a width of about 2mm at both sides of the supporting flap 4.
In order to keep the supporting flap 4 from getting bent as the cover 8 is opened, it has a large thickness for thereby getting a predetermined elastic force.
In the thus constructed bottle cover of the present invention, when the cover 8 is rotated to the left to open the cover 8 from the bottleneck 8, the remaining parts except the connecting members 5 are separated from the hanging ring 3.
At this time, if the cover 8 is flung open outwardly, the supporting flap 4 formed integrally with the cover 8 is rotated in clockwise direction, and thereby the lower end thereof is slantingly and closely contacted with the outer circumferential surface of the bottleneck 15. This achieves complete opening of the cover 8 and also prevents bilateral movement of the cover 8.
In this way, with one end of the supporting flap 4 being contacted with the outer circumferential surface of the bottleneck 15, the cover 8 returns inwardly for thereby preventing the generation of inhibiting factors blocking an outlet.
Industrial Applicability
As described above, according to the present invention, the supporting flap is formed inside the connecting member connecting the cover and the hanging ring and it supports the bottleneck by giving a predetermined elastic force to the outer circumferential surface of the bottleneck when opening the cover from the bottleneck. Therefore, this invention is useful in achieving complete opening of the cover and at the same time preventing bilateral movement of the cover during the use thereof.

Claims

Claims:
