Abstract

The invention relates to a method enabling a personal computer (1) or any other communication means equipped with an electronic connection (2) to access a telecommunication network (3). The inventive method comprises a preliminary stage whereby a software program is installed in the computer (1) or communication means and the execution of said software provides access to the telecommunication network (3) by means of a communication management and identification server (4) which is connected to an access provider (5), at least one database (6), a proxy server (7) and an account and password/login management server (8). The co-ordinates of the communication management and identification server (4) are stored in the software and a communication time value is associated with said software. The communication time value is deducted by the communication management and identification server (4) which is connected to said database (6) and the account and password/login management server (8). The inventive method is characterised in that the communication time value can be converted by the communication management and identification server (4) to enable purchases to be made on said proxy server (7).
