Abstract

The present invention relates to a cigarette pack which can be easily opened even at a dark place. The cigarette pack of the present invention comprises a paper pack in which a plurality of cigarettes are contained; a synthetic resin film which envelops the exterior of the paper pack; an opening strip which is horizontally attached to an inner side of the synthetic resin film to be arranged around an upper portion of the paper pack; and a luminous opening tab which includes a tip portion of the opening strip and is configured to protrude separately from the synthetic resin film so as to be picked up. According to the present invention, since the luminous opening tab can be easily seen even under dark circumstances, the cigarette pack can be very conveniently opened.

Description

CIGARETTE PACK
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a cigarette pack, and more particularly, to a cigarette pack of which a plastic cover can be easily opened even at a dark place.
Background Art
FIG. 1 shows the constitution of a conventional cigarette pack. As shown in the figure, the conventional cigarette pack generally comprises a paper pack 2 made of paper material, and a transparent synthetic resin film 4 which envelops the paper pack. The synthetic resin film 4 is used to protect the cigarette pack from external moisture etc.
The synthetic resin film 4 should be first torn open when opening the cigarette pack. To this end, an opening strip 6 for causing the synthetic resin film 4 to be torn open is attached to an inner side of the synthetic resin film 4 at an upper end of the cigarette pack.
In addition, in order that the opening strip 6 can be easily torn off from the synthetic resin film, an opening tab 6a, which is formed by causing a tip portion of the opening strip to protrude separately from the synthetic resin film 4, is formed at an edge portion of the cigarette pack. Essentially, when a user picks up and pulls the opening tab 6a, the synthetic resin film 4 is torn apart by means of the opening strip 6 which is attached to an inner surface of the synthetic resin film 4. Thus, an upper portion of the synthetic resin film above the opening strip is opened. In general, the opening tab 6a is substantially composed of the tip portion of the opening strip 6 and a slight portion of the synthetic resin film located near the tip portion.
According to the conventional cigarette pack constructed as such, however, it is difficult to find the opening tab 6a under dark circumstances. Thus, there is a problem in that it is inconvenient to open the cigarette pack at a dark place. That is, since the opening tab 6a is not easily seen at a place such as a dark room or street, there is inconvenience in that it is difficult to open the cigarette pack at the place.
Disclosure of Invention
An object of the present invention is to provide a cigarette pack which can be easily opened even under dark circumstances so that a user can open the cigarette pack more conveniently.
In order to achieve the above object, the cigarette pack of the present invention comprises a paper pack in which a plurality of cigarettes are contained; a synthetic resin film which envelops the exterior of the paper pack; an opening strip which is horizontally attached to an inner side of the synthetic resin film to be arranged around an upper portion of the paper pack; and a luminous opening tab which includes a tip portion of the opening strip and is configured to protrude separately from the synthetic resin film so as to be picked up.
Further, according to the present invention, the whole opening strip may be formed to be luminous, or only the tip portion of the opening strip of the opening tab may be formed to be luminous. Furthermore, the whole opening tab may be formed to be luminous.
According to the present invention, since the luminous opening tab can be easily seen even under the dark circumstances, the cigarette pack can be very conveniently opened.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing the constitution of a conventional cigarette pack. FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing the constitution of a cigarette pack according to the present invention.
Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of a cigarette pack according to the present invention will be explained in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
As shown in FIG. 2, the cigarette pack of the present invention comprises a paper pack 12 made of paper material and a synthetic resin film 14 which envelops the paper pack 12. An opening strip 16 is horizontally arranged onto an upper portion of the cigarette pack while extending along the entire perimeter of the cigarette pack. The opening strip 16 is substantially attached to an inner side of the synthetic resin film 14.
As described above, the opening strip 16 is also used to split the synthetic resin film 14 into two parts when opening the cigarette pack. In order that the opening strip (16) can be easily picked up, an opening tab 16a, which is formed by causing a tip portion of the opening strip( 16) to protrude slightly farther from the synthetic resin film( 14), is formed at an edge portion of the cigarette pack. Further, the opening tab 16a includes at least a portion of the opening strip( 16) to which a part of the synthetic resin film 14 is generally attached together. According to the present invention, at least the portion of the opening strip( 16) constructing the opening tab 16a is formed to be luminous. That is, since the tip portion of the opening strip( 16) of the opening tab 16a is formed to be luminous, the opening tab 16a or the tip portion of the opening strip( 16) can be easily seen and found even under dark circumstances. Further, the whole opening strip( 16) may be easily formed to be luminous.
Alternatively, as another embodiment of the present invention, the whole opening tab 16a including a part of the opening strip( 16) may be formed to be luminous. That is, since the opening tab 16a of the present invention is formed to be luminous, the opening tab can also be easily seen under the dark circumstances. Thus, the opening tab 16a can be picked up more conveniently. It is preferred that the opening tab 16a be positioned at an edge portion of the cigarette pack in the same way as a conventional one.
The luminous opening tabs 16a may be constructed according to various embodiments. To this end, for example, an additional luminous tape may be attached to the opening tab 16a, or luminous paint may be applied to the opening tab 16a. It is apparent that any kinds of the luminous opening tabs 16a, which can be obtained in other various manners in addition to these embodiments, fall within the technical scope of the present invention.
As described in the foregoing, since the opening tab 16a of the present invention is formed to be luminous, it can be easily seen even under the dark circumstances. Therefore, the opening tab 16a can be easily found and conveniently picked up even under the dark circumstances such as within a room where any lights are turned off. Further, by picking up and pulling the opening tab 16a, the opening strip 16 causes the synthetic resin film 14 attached to the outer side thereof to be torn apart. Thereafter, the paper pack 12 is opened, and thus, the cigarettes can be taken out from the cigarette pack.
According to the present invention described above, it should be understood that a basic technical feature of the present invention is that the opening tab can be easily seen and picked up even at the dark circumstances such as dark night by forming the whole opening strip( 6), a part of the tip portion of the opening strip of the opening tab 16a, or the whole opening tab 16a to be luminous. It is also apparent to those skilled in the art that various other modifications or changes can be made without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention.
Industrial Applicability
According to the present invention constructed as such, there is convenience in that the cigarette pack can be easily opened even under the dark circumstances such as at night with no light.
