Diese Nut 14', 14" weist ein Relief 17 auf, das aus einer Aneinanderreihung verschiedener Flächenabschnitte 18, 19 besteht. Hierbei ist allerdings zu bemerken, dass beim Einstecken eines Hauptschlüssel in den Schlüsselkanal eines Neben-Schließzylinders mit einem nebengeordneten Vorsprungsprofil nur ein teilweiser Formschluss zwischen den Nuten und den jeweiligen Vorsprüngen vorliegt. Begrenzt man die maximale Höhe solcher Spitzen der Codebahn 13, so würde gleichzeitig auch die Anzahl der Variationsmöglichkeiten der Codebahnen 13 erheblich geringer. Es könnten viel weniger Schlüssel mit verschiedenen Codebahnen 13 aufgelegt werden. Derselbe Nachteil ergibt sich auch aus einer Verkleinerung des Profils 14 wenn dieses auf eine bestimmte Eintiefung begrenzt wird. Auch hierdurch wird die Variation in den Schlüsseltypen erheblich eingeschränkt.
