Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Entschlüssel eines verschlüsselten elektronischen Dokuments mittels einer über ein öffentliches Datenübertragungsnetz, bevorzugt das Internet, von einer Serverseite herangeführten Schlüsseldatei, wobei das entschlüsselte elektronische Dokument auf einer lokalen, Datenverarbeitungsvorrichtung darstellbar ist, die eine zum Darstellen des unverschlüsselten elektronischen Dokuments eingerichtete Darstellungseinheit sowie eine zum Zusammenführen des verschlüsselten Dokuments und einer Schlüsseldatei zum Erzeugen des entschlüsselten Dokuments eingerichtete Entschlüsselungseinheit aufweist, wobei die Entschlüsselungseinheit im ablaufbereiten Zustand mindestens eine programmtechnisch beeinflussbare Funktionseinheit aufweist, die zum Auswählen einer Schlüsseldatei aus einer Mehrzahl von lokal oder serverseitig vorhandenen Schlüsseldateien und/oder zum Durchführen eines für das Zusammenführen zum Erzeugen des entschlüsselten Dokuments notwendigen Betriebsvorganges der Entschlüsselungseinheit und/oder zum gezielten Zugreifen auf eine eine Schlüsseldatei aufweisende serverseitige Adresse konfigurierbar ist und einen Entschlüsselungsbetrieb der Entschlüsselungseinheit so beeinflusst, dass nur bei einer vorbestimmten Konfiguration der Funktionseinheit das Zusammenführen durch die Entschlüsselungseinheit zum korrekten entschlüsselten Dokument führt.
