Abstract

La présente invention concerne l'emballage des bananes dans des conteneurs présentant des perméabilités définies à l'oxygène, au dioxyde de carbone et à l'éthylène. Ces conteneurs comportent de préférence une membrane perméable aux gaz comprenant (1) un film microporeux et (2) un revêtement polymère sur le film microporeux. Le conteneur permet un stockage et/ou un mûrissage des bananes dans des conditions régulées. L'utilisation de ces conteneurs fait que les bananes peuvent être mises à mûrir pendant leur transport, ou dans des mûrisseries conventionnelles, sans qu'il y ait à ouvrir les sacs dans lesquelles elles ont été transportées. En outre, on peut maintenir les bananes à un état de maturité satisfaisant pendant des durées prolongées.
