Abstract

A valve body provided in ink chamber of the ink cartridge comprises a supporting foot, a supporting wall projected obliquely from the inside of the supporting foot, a supporting shoulder curved from the supporting wall towards the inside, and a supporting head with a central hole therethrough projected from the supporting shoulder. A valve seal means seals the central hole, and makes the ink being maintained. A seal member provided at the ink outlet port includes an integrally formed supporting portion which fits into the ink outlet port closely, a seal annular portion projected from the supporting portion, a block cooperating with the annular portion, and a connecting portion surrounding between the block and the annular portion. The valve body has an annular and staged configuration, which makes it sensitive to pressure, and at the same time, the seal member of the present invention acts well during use and non-use.
