Abstract

Bei einem Verfahren zum Giessen von Al-beruhigten Stählen mit einer wassergekühlten Kokille, die am Ende der sekundärmetallurgischen Behandlung mit Ca behandelt worden sind und Desoxidationsprodukte der Zusammensetzung im Zwei-Phasen-Diagramm Al2O3/Ca zwischen 40 und 60 % Al2O3 aufweisen, wird beim Giessen mit einem keramischen Rohr durch eine zusätzliche Isolierung zwischen Verteilerboden und Giessspiegel die Wärmeleitfähigkeit gesenkt und die Aussenhauttemperatur des Tauchausgusses zwischen Verteilerboden und Giessspiegel über > 700 °C angehoben. Ein keramisches Giessrohr (1) weist hierzu eine Isolation (14) aus einer keramischen Wolle (14) mit einer Aussenhauttemperatur an der Oberfläche der keramischen Wolle von < 700 °C (14.1) auf.
