Abstract

L'invention concerne des micro-arrays ou micro-arrays multiblocs intégrant des laboratoires sur puces utilisables en Analyse Chimique, Biochimique ou Biologique ou en Synthèse Chimique ou Biochimique. Un micro-array ou macro-array multibloc de l'invention est constitué d'un empilement de modules élémentaires plats pourvus de micro-canaux parallèles à leur surface qui débouchent dans l'épaisseur et sur la tranche d'au moins un de leurs côtés, chaque module élémentaire plat apportant une ligne audit micro-array ou macro-array multibloc. Les micro-canaux peuvent être pourvus de micro-mélangeurs et de portions élargies dotées de surface de fixation de molécules et peuvent accueillir des microcolonnes ou des microparticules ou des microsphères. La juxtaposition des lignes permet d'effectuer sur de très petits volumes les réactions en parallèle. Deux micro-arrays ou macro-arrays multiblocs de l'invention peuvent se connecter orthogonalement de manière à croiser un premier ensemble de réactifs avec un deuxième, et constituer toute une chaîne étanche d'analyse ou de synthèse.
