The usage of the above electronic depository system is accessed by the built in programs of the user's computer. The information of credit card, bank account, electronic currency is individually saved and can be selected by the user accordingly. The above individual information can be secured by including the proper number of card or account and secret ID number plus expiration date. After inputting the information regarding the settlement method, there will be chance to confirm or change the final delivery address.

equipped with card recognition capability.
Fig. 2 is a block diagram showing the example of the formation of item purchasing system that secures credit information.
Fig. 3 is a flow chart showing the example of purchasing method using the electronic transaction security system.
Fig. 4 is a view showing the example of different inquiries exercised while using a card settlement for Fig. 3.
Fig. 5 is a view showing the example of settling through bank account for Fig. 3. Fig. 6 is a view showing the relationship between the user, seller and monetary settlement department.
Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
The above and other objects, features and other advantages of the present invention will be more clearly understood from the following detailed description taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. This explains in detail of an operation referring to the drawings accompanying the descriptive examples. The operating example of the card recognition keyboard is presented on the Fig. 1 as an outline. The main keyboard 10 is organized with a regular keyboard 12 consisting of special function keys, letter keys, number keys, non-contact recognizing part 14 for reading card information saved within the card, magnetic tape 16 for reading card information recorded in the magnetic area.
This main keyboard 10 can be connected to the nature of any computers, functioning as a regular keyboard 12 or card reference for referring to a credit card or IC card. The function of a regular keyboard, and for the function of a card transaction, user can simply insert a card into the slot of magnetic tape section, which will read the magnetic information of a card.
The information of FR card (radio Frequency Card) or IC card (Integrated Circuit Card) is automatically read by approaching or connecting with the internal magnetic part of the RF card or IC card. As described in the proceedings, the keyboard 10 could function as an ordinary keyboard as in personal computer for basic word operation, word keyboard for programming, and can access as any other ordinary keyboard for selecting various menus. Also, it functions as a device to achieve electronic transaction, home banking or home shopping. Similar to an ordinary banking facility, the customer can simply use it for credit inquiry or reference. The item purchasing methods using the electronic transaction security system can be referred from the Fig.2 to Fig.6 for further detailed information.
If you refer to Fig.2, the keyboard 10 consisting of keyboard 12, non-contact recognizing part 14 plus magnetic tape 16 is connected to the information provider server 30 and monetary settlement facility server 34 through the connection of communication network. The user system 18 possesses from keyboard 10 to input category that inputs signals to memory 24 that saves established programs 20 as well as various data, to controlling division 26 that governs the entire activity of user system 18, to transmitting category for external connection through line transmission of an existing line. In the information provider server 30 and monetary settlement facility server 34, they are equipped with their own database 32,36. The carrier server 38 that possesses it own database 40 is connected through the communication network. As mentioned before, the formatted execution example will be explained by carrying out the Fig. 3. First of all, when the user connects to the communication networks for an electronic transaction, they will be connected to the information provider homepage (S2) that provides item information from the information provider server 30. After going
through various items provided by the homepage, and going through the item selection (S4), the information provider will request the settlement of the amount for the according item. Then, the user will make settlement for the amount by connecting to the monetary settlement facility server 34 line that is separate from the line of current connecting line, which is saved in the memory of connecting program. At this moment, the user system 18 will choose the settlement method (S6). There will be a selection between using the user's safe (S8) saved in the memory 24 of the equipped software program, or the card scanning method (SI 6) by the non- contact recognizing part 14 or by the magnetic tape 16. When using the card scanning method, the card number will automatically be inputted (S10) from scanning the card, and once again, it will request the confirmation of the delivery address (S12). It is to make sure whether the item is delivered to the existing address in case of changed address. By confirming the delivery address, the settlement will take place from the monetary settlement facility (S14), and the approval number will be sent to the information provider server 30. If choosing the electronic safe method (SI 6), there will be a selection of whether sending the credit card information (SI 8) saved in the memory 24 or sending the information on various bank accounts (S26) or using the electronic currency (S34). Card settlement method consists of sending user's various card information saved in the memory 24 within the user system 18 and the corresponding card number of selected card will be automatically sent (S22). Meanwhile, when the selection of a card is made, the user will be able to refer to the including corresponding card number, expiration date, cardholder's name plus information on the transaction and balance. In terms of selecting bank account (S28) for account transfer, the corresponding
information of the account will be automatically inputted (S30). When choosing the bank account method, there will exist information on previously recorded account and home banking information such as account number, secret ID number, and transaction of electronic transaction plus current balance. The user will be allowed to make reference (S32) to this information before the input of their account number.
When using the electronic currency for the settlement, it is carried out in the similar method as using a credit card or bank account. There will be the selection of electronic currency (S36), and the information about electronic currency will be automatically inputted (S38), allowing various references of electronic currency (S40). Proper number, secret ID number, name of issuant, electronic transaction plus current balance can be referred.
As above, various transaction methods are sent to the banking facility server 34, followed by the confirmation of delivery address, allowing the settlement (SI 4). These information is directly sent to the banking facility server (34) from the user system 18 without connecting through the information provider server 30 preventing the outflow of credit information to other external areas allowing the user to feel safe using electronic transaction.
It is necessary for the user to manage the appropriate level of spending amount or choosing the right method. The estimated settled amount that is needed to be settled within the settlement date will be referred to as the amount and total amount used. The available amount for use is listed, so referring to the balance and managing of the amount is necessary.
The example of composing a list is shown in the Fig. 4 and Fig. 5. Fig. 4 indicates list of various cards and Fig. 5 indicates list of different bank accounts. If you click on the according subject, it will clearly indicate the detailed data such as date, list,
amount and subtotal. This information is currently being connected to the monetary settlement facility server 34 and its previous settlements are organized in a list of data sheet form. After the formation of these estimates and balances, the user will select the right settlement method. Then the monetary settlement facility server 34 will settle the amount of its according item, and the confirmation regarding the settlement will be forwarded to the user and information provider server 30 completing the settlement of the purchase. The monetary settlement facility server will provide the approval code to the information provider server 30 and after this process, the claimed amount will be processed from the settlement facility. Therefore, series of electronic transaction takes place for purchasing an item such as the settlement itself, shipping process and etc. As a reference, information provider provides information on delivery address and storage location for the item to the shipment facility server 38 to allow a safe delivery of the item to the person ordering. Also, the similar relationship of each individual connector is shown in the illustration 6, presenting the relationship between the user, information provider, monetary settlement facility and shipment facility.
The user connected to the communication network, connects to the site of the information provider to apply a purchase 1, the information provider requests for payment 2 for the according item(s). Then, the user will apply for settlement 3 to the monetary settlement facility through a separate line, and the monetary settlement facility will receive the settlement amount from the information provider, providing settlement confirmation and an approval code. The information provider will request a delivery to the shipment facility and the shipment office will confirm the delivery thus completing the electronic transaction. As above, according to the operation of this invention, there will be many advantages
concerning the activation of the electronic transaction through the communication network because the outflow of user's credit information is prevented. This creates no financial damage, and the user can feel secure about using this electronic settlement method. The user can enjoy the convenience, and the ease of home shopping. For the information provider, they can get the effect of sales increase by activating this electronic transaction.
Industrial Applicability
According to this invention, there is the effect of convenience using a card or an account through the electronic transaction without exposing the credit information, so the user can be assured of its safety and can accomplish a settlement with convenience.
In the communication network, monetary transaction is safely accomplished, activating the electronic transaction, and there will be the effect of increasing sales. Although this invention precisely explains only about the mechanical materials, it is unmistakably possible for each dealer to make adjustments and various modifications in the range of technology. Various modifications may occur to those skilled in the art without departing from the true spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims.
Claims
1. Keyboard equipped with the functional keys, letter keys, number keys and special keys consisting card recognition device that reads the information of a card built up in the magnetic field as the distinctive feature of the keyboard that is equipped with card recognition capability.
2. A card according to Claim 1, wherein said keyboard equipped with card recognizing device recognizing credit cards, debit cards, department store cards, and other approved cards that function as a monetary settlement as the distinctive feature.
3. A keyboard according to Claim 1, wherein said keyboard established of contact/non-contact card device that reads the information of the chip contained within the card as the distinctive feature of the keyboard equipped with card recognition capability.
4. A system for the accomplishment of the electronic transaction from the communication network with the equipped monetary settlement facility server to accomplish monetary settlement with information server that provides information of the selling product, comprising:
a keyboard that is equipped with magnetic tape that reads information recorded in the magnetic of a card, and non-contact recognition category that reads the information saved in the IC card; memory that supports printing of the account or card balance and amounts used, and also saves the monetary information such as various card or account information that is needed for a purchase settlement in the communication network; a transmitter-receiver that allows input and output of data by connecting to the communication network; a card information inputted by the above mentioned keyboard and monetary information saved in the memory is forwarded to the monetary settlement facility server connected to the communication network thus allowing the accomplishment of monetary settlement by providing the above through the transmitter-receiver; and a user's system equipped with an electronic transaction security system with a control that manages a separate connection of the information provider and monetary settlement facility separately connecting the above information provider server and monetary settlement facility allowing an electronic transaction as the distinctive feature.
5. Information provider server that provides the product information and monetary settlement facility server that achieves the monetary settlement, are both connected to the communication network and as for the user who achieves over the electronic transaction by connecting to the communication network comprising: a item selection stage to choose a product by connecting to the internet shopping site of the information provider server; a monetary settlement of a purchase, there will be a settlement method selection stage to choose a method of settlement whether by scanning the card or using the electronic depository; a stage to input the information of the settlement method according to the selected method of settlement; and
The item purchasing method with the above mentioned characteristics being the distinctive feature.
6. The method according to Claim 5, wherein the usage of the above electronic depository has the above user's computer using its provided programs, to choose one of the information of credit card, bank account, electronic currency, as being the distinctive feature of item purchasing method that uses the electronic transaction security system.
7. The method according to claim 6, wherein the information about the above credit card, bank account, and electronic currency is saved as each and every individual information in its own itemized list allowing the selection of any one of the information to be utilized.
8. The method according to claim 7, wherein the individual's information is included in card or account number with secret ID number.
9. The method according to claim 5, the above card scanning method uses a separate card recognizing device for the user to scan cards.
10. The method according to claim 5, wherein after the information input of the above settlement method and before the settlement method takes place including the confirmation and input stage that confirms and inputs the final delivery address.
