Abstract

Disclosed is a shoe suitable for being used both indoors and outdoors. The shoe comprises a foldable piece integrally stitched to a rear portion of the shoe which rear portion is to be brought into contact with a rear portion of an ankle, in a manner such that the foldable piece can be easily folded, the foldable piece having a predetermined width.

Claims
1. A shoe suitable for being used both indoors and outdoors, comprising: a foldable piece integrally stitched to a rear portion of the shoe which rear portion is to be brought into contact with a rear portion of an ankle, in a manner such that the foldable piece can be easily folded, the foldable piece having a predetermined width.
2. The shoe as claimed in claim 1, wherein the foldable piece has a mesh-shaped configuration and is made of a material having a predetermined ventability, such as soft fiber, synthetic resin or rubber.
3. The shoe as claimed in claims 1 or 2, wherein a supporting pad segment is arranged in the middle of the foldable piece.
4. The shoe as claimed in claim 1, wherein the foldable piece is cut at one side end and a lower end thereof, first and second Velcro-brand hook and loop fastener strips are fastened to inner and outer surfaces, respectively, of the one side end of the foldable piece, and first and second complementary Velcro-brand hook and loop fastener strips are fastened to the shoe adjacent to the one and the other side ends, respectively, of the foldable piece, whereby the rear portion of the shoe can be opened by detaching the first strip from the first complementary strip and then attaching the second strip to the second complementary strip.
5. The shoe as claimed in claim 1, wherein the foldable piece is completely cut out from the rear portion of the shoe so as to form a pad part; and a zipper is stitched to cut edges of the pad part and
13 the rear portion of the shoe, in a manner such that the pad part can be attached to and detached from the rear portion of the shoe.
6. The shoe as claimed in claim 1, wherein a pair of slots are defined in the shoe adjacent to the one and the other side ends, respectively, of the foldable piece, in a manner such that the pair of slots extend in a vertical direction.
7. The shoe as claimed in claim 6, wherein the pair of slots are inclined downward and rearward when viewed from an upper end of the shoe.
