Abstract
The multifunctional device with the structure of a ladder and containing shelves, with shutting at sight transforms a ladder in a roomy, additional piece of furniture for books, clothes and other, with easy access and contained in an aesthetic structure in harmony with the furniture of the room where it is being placed like in bookshops, sleeping rooms, living rooms and other.
Description
"A MULTIFUNCTIONAL DEVICE WITH THE STRUCTURE OF A LADDER AND WITH CONTAINING SHELVES, WITH SHUTTING AT SIGHT"
The present invention concerns a multifunctional device with the structure of a ladder and containing shelves, with shutting at sight.
It is known that ladders of any kind are always very useful in houses, libraries, bookshops and similar, but it is also known that besides being an encumbrance that usually cannot be hidden and that makes a blatant aesthetic contrast with the furniture and/or with the equipment they are used in.
It is the aim of the present invention to transform a ladder, used for reaching objects placed high, into a roomy additional piece of furniture for books, clothes and other which can be easily reached as they are contained in an aesthetically valid structure that mya harmonize with the furniture of the room, like e.g. bookshops, sleeping rooms, living rooms and similar.
The present invention will be described more in detail hereinbelow relating to the enclosed drawings, in which an embodiment is shown.
Figure 1 shows an axonometric view of a multifunctional device with the structure of a ladder and with containing shelves, with shutting at sight, according to the present invention.
Figure 2 shows the details of the containing shelves, with shutting at sight.
The enclosed figures show a multifunctional device with the structure of a ladder and with containing shelves, with shutting at sight, mainly consisting of:
- a supporting structure in the shape of a truncated cone
1 , comprising a vertical upright 2 and an inclined upright 3, that may be preferably realized out of wood or however out of a material aesthetically coherent with the furniture of the room into which it is to be placed;
- a plurality of shelves 4, outwardly turned by said inclined upright 3;
- a plurality of shelves 5, preferably out of glass, crystal or similar, for deviding the space inside said structure 1 into containing spaces in the form of a truncated cone, laterally limited by transparent panels 6 for showing, from each side, the books L and/ or the clothes like neckties, shirts and other;
- a front closing element 7 for each of the containing spaces of the shelves, consisting of a glass or crystal
panel provided with a solution of continuity 8 for the flap hand-opening provided - for shutting - in vertical position and turned towards the inside, so as not to invade the resting space on the footboards 4.
In possible variants according to the present invetion, the height of said structure 1 and the number of the footboards and of the shelves 5 may be widely varied, according to the requests of multifunctionality and of aesthetics.
Claims
1. A multifunctional device with the structure of a ladder and with containing shelves, with shutting at sight, characterized in:
- a supporting structure in the shape of a truncated cone (1 ), comprising a vertical upright (2) and an inclined upright (3), that may be preferably realized out of wood or however out of a material aesthetically coherent with the furniture of the room into which it is to be placed;
- a plurality of shelves (4), outwardly turned by said inclined upright (3);
- a plurality of shelves (5), preferably out of glass, crystal or similar, for deviding the space inside said structure (1 ) into containing spaces in the form of a truncated cone, laterally limited by transparent panels (6) for showing, from each side, the books (L) and/ or the clothes like neckties, shirts and other;
- a front closing element (7) for each of the containing spaces of the shelves, consisting of a glass or crystal panel provided with a solution of continuity 8 for the flap hand-opening provided - for shutting - in vertical position and turned towards the inside, so as not to invade the resting space on the footboards (4). A device according to claim 1 , characterized in that the height of said structure (1 ) and the number of the footboards (4) and of the shelves (5) are dimensioned according to the piece of furniture required.
