Abstract
Description
Energieversorgung eines elektrischen HandgerätsPower supply for an electrical handheld device
Stand der TechnikState of the art
The invention is based on an energy supply for machine tools or the like, in particular as a hand-held device. low electrical voltage (6, 12, 24, 48 V) according to the preamble of the main claim.
In a known generic power supply for an electrical hand-held device (DE-OS 43 01 508), an electric hand drill is supplied with electrical energy by an accumulator via its cable and a plug at the beginning of the cable. This accumulator is carried by the user via a belt carrier. In addition, an inverter is provided on the accumulator in order to transform and impulse the accumulator voltage, in order to be able to supply 220 V drilling machines with then alternating current. As an advantage, it is stated that the high weight and the low capacity of so-called cordless machines, in which the battery is usually housed in the handle of the device and is mostly rechargeable, leads to corresponding disadvantages for the user, which are caused by the shifting of the Accumulator to the person can be avoided. Commercial "220 V machines" can also be used. In fact, however, such an inverter is not only complex and has its own weight, but multiple power conversion is associated with considerable energy losses. The accumulator must first be charged from the mains via a transformer and rectifier, in order to then convert the direct voltage of the battery to alternating voltage again via an inverter and to transform it up to 220 V accordingly. In addition, there are "cordless machines" available for many special applications, which can then no longer be used.
The energy supply according to the invention with the characterizing features of the main claim has the advantage that the accumulators present in the "cordless machines", which are arranged via plug connections on the devices, can be replaced by the adapters according to the invention in a very simple manner, the cables of which are then connected to the lead central accumulator. In this way, several machines can be supplied with power from such an accumulator at the same time, it being possible for there to be a plurality of parallel sockets on the accumulator. According to the invention, the adapter is usually plugged into the receiving space that normally receives the device accumulator in order to ensure that the current is passed on from the central accumulator to the electrical machine. However, the adapter can also have an intermediate part, which enables a generally trained adapter to be applied to the non-standard receiving spaces.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the accumulator is connected to a support element which can be arranged on the person and is carried by the person in a known manner. The person must then carry the accumulator, but not additionally an inverter. According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention in this regard, a belt, backpack, carrying bag or the like serves as the carrier element. In any case, it is decisive that the person using the device is impaired as little as possible in their freedom of movement, it being a known fact that a load is easiest to carry directly on the body.
According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the charger has a plug connection to the accumulator with a nut piece which is suitable for receiving the father piece of the adapter cable. As a result, if necessary, the electrically powered hand-held device can also be supplied with energy directly via the charger. This can be an advantage in some cases if a fixed electrical network with 220 V voltage is available near the work site.
According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the adapter has an additional device with electrical terminals for charging a motor vehicle battery, these electrical terminals being arranged on sufficiently long cable pieces and using the charge of the battery worn on the body for charging the motor vehicle battery becomes.
Further advantages and advantageous embodiments of the invention can be found in the following description, the drawing and the claims.
Zeichnungdrawing
An embodiment of the object of the invention is shown in the drawing and will be described in more detail below. Show it: 1 shows an accumulator that can be used alternatively by different devices and FIG. 2 shows the possibility of using the charger.
Beschreibung des AusführungsbeispielsDescription of the embodiment
As shown in Figure 1, a person 1 carries on a belt 2 an accumulator 3, which is connected via a cable 4 to a jigsaw 5, a low-voltage standard plug 6 being present at the end of the cable 4 facing away from the jigsaw 5, which plugs into a corresponding one Accumulator 3 existing socket is inserted. An additional socket 7 is provided above this socket. In this socket 7 or instead of the standard plug 6, standard plugs 8 or 9 can be inserted that belong to other electrical low-voltage devices, namely a saw 11 or a drilling machine 12. The electrical hand-held devices 5, 11 and 12 are low-voltage devices, which do not have any illustrated storage spaces for rechargeable batteries. In these receiving spaces at the end of the cable 4 arranged adapters are provided, which are used for the electrical power supply from the accumulator 3 to the electrical machine.
In Figure 2, a charger 13 is shown in the external view, which has a transformer and a rectifier and is plugged with its plug part 14 into a 220 V mains socket. A standard plug 16 for low voltage is inserted into this charger 13, its cable 17 leads to the accumulator 3 and is also connected there via a standard plug 18. As shown in FIG. 1, this accumulator 3 can be arranged on the belt 2. As can be seen in FIG. 2, the standard plug 6 of the cable 4 or the jigsaw 5 or the standard plug 8 and 9 of the others Devices 1 1 and 12 can be plugged into this socket on the charger 13 instead of the standard plug 16 or parallel to it, in order to be supplied with power in some practical cases directly from the mains via the charger. The energy supply according to the invention thus has a cable 4 with on the one hand a plug 6, 16 and on the other hand an adapter which can be used in the "battery compartment" for conventional cordless handheld devices.
All features shown in the description, the following claims and the drawing can be essential to the invention both individually and in any combination with one another.
