Abstract

The invention relates to a tandem-type pneumatic brake booster, comprising a housing (2), two chambers (6, 7) which are separate from each other, two movable walls (8, 11) which each separate a vacuum chamber (9, 12) from a working chamber (10, 13), as well as one or more connecting channels (15) between the first working chamber (10) and the second working chamber (13) through which the pressure between these two chambers can be equalized. The essence of the invention resides in the fact that fixing means (20) are provided for which in relation to the connecting channels (15) are arranged on a separate, other pitch diameter such that they are staggered in the direction of circumference. The invention allows for the multiple and variable adjustment and mounting of a master brake cylinder unit of a brake booster in different vehicle types made by different motor vehicle manufacturers.
