DESCRIPTION
Title of Invention
: Toothbrush with Inclined Bristles
Technical Field
The present invention generally relates to the field of dental care. More particularly, the present invention relates to the field of toothbrush construction.
Background Art
Prior toothbrushes have bristles set or fixed into the toothbrush at a 90. degree, angle, so the bristles never extend beyond the length of the toothbrush head, and therefore cannot reach the deepest areas of the oral cavity. Due to the structure of the human oral cavity, prior toothbrushes cannot effectively clean the distal and proximal surfaces of the molars, therefore causing tooth decay, tartar build-up, and sore gums in these regions of the oral cavity.
The purpose of this present toothbrush invention is to create a toothbrush with inclined bristles that will allow people to brush the hard-to-reach surfaces of their teeth, surfaces that they cannot comfortably, easily, or effectively brush with prior toothbrush models.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention is a toothbrush with inclined bristles for enhancing the brushing of an individual's teeth.
The present toothbrush head section has a toothbrush shaft, toothbrush bristles fixed on the toothbrush shaft and toothbrush grooves to fix the bristles on the toothbrush shaft.
This toothbrush shaft has a front tip and bristles which can reach the hard-to-brush areas in the back of a person's oral cavity.
The bristles on the toothbrush shaft are at an angle of θ which is less than or same as 90. degree.. The angle of incline for the bristles nearest the front tip of the toothbrush head is in the range of approximately 30. degree. - 89. degree., preferably 70. degree.. Therefore, at this angle, the bristles extend beyond the length of the front tip of the toothbrush head.
It is the object of the present invention to provide a toothbrush, where the bristles on the toothbrush shaft are at an angle of less than 90. degree, or 90. degree, to improve the reach for brushing an individual's teeth.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide a toothbrush with set bristles, where the bristles nearest the front tip of the toothbrush head are set at an incline of less than 90. degree.. That is, the angle of incline for the bristles nearest the front tip of the toothbrush head is in the range of approximately 30. degree. - 89. degree., preferably 70. degree.. Therefore, at this angle, the bristles extend beyond the length of the front tip of the toothbrush head. Therefore, when a person brushes his teeth with this toothbrush, a person can easily reach the deepest areas in the back of his molars.

Modes for Carrying Out the Invention
Although specific embodiments of the present invention will now be descπbed with reference to the drawings, it should be understood that such embodiments are by way of example only and merely illustrative of but a small number of the many possible specific embodiments which can represent applications of the principles of the present invention Various changes and modifications obvious to one skilled in the art to which the present invention pertains are deemed to be within the spirit, scope and contemplation of the present invention as further defined in the appended claims
FIG 1 shows that the present toothbrush compπses a head 1 and a shaft (not shown) section The toothbrush head 1 is composed of a toothbrush shaft 4, toothbrush bπstles 6, and toothbrush grooves 8 to fix the bπstles on the toothbrush shaft 4 The toothbrush shaft 4 has a top-surface of the toothbrush head 5 and a bottom-surface of the toothbrush head 3
The head of the toothbrush has grooves 8 for the bπstles 6 to be set in, and the toothbrush grooves of the toothbrush shaft are grooved at an incline of θ so that the bπstles of the toothbrush head are fixed at an incline of θ
The tip of the front bπstles 6 extend beyond the length of the front tip of the toothbrush 7 by setting the front bπstles at an angle θ between the top-surface of the toothbrush head and the front bristles of the tip of the toothbrush head The angle θ between the top-surface of the toothbrush head and the front bπstles of the tip of the toothbrush head is less than 90 degree , is in the range of approximately 30 degree to 89 degree , preferably 70 degree
The grooves 8 gradually move away from the tip of the toothbrush head 7, the angle of incline increases gradually until the grooves furthest from the tip of the toothbrush head 2 are set at an angle of 90 degree This gradual increase in angle of the groove 8 is matched by the bπstles
In the case that the said toothbrush is made without grooves, the bπstles are glued or tied to the top-surface of the toothbrush head 5 without grooves, and the tip of the front bπstles 6 extend beyond the length of the front tip of the toothbrush 7 by setting the front bristles at an angle θ between the top-surface of the toothbrush head and the front bristles of the tip of the toothbrush head The angle θ between the top-surface of
the toothbrush head and the front bristles of the tip of the toothbrush head is less than 90 degrees, is in the range of approximately 30. degree, to 89. degree., preferably 70. degree.. As the bristles 6 gradually move away from the tip of the toothbrush head 7, the angle of incline increases gradually until the bristles 6 furthest from the tip of the toothbrush head 2 are set at an angle of 90. degree..
Industrial Applicability
When a person brushes his or her teeth with this toothbrush, even though the front tip of the toothbrush's head cannot reach the deepest part in the back of his or her oral cavity, the front bristles easily can, resulting in a more effective cleaning. In addition, the said toothbrush bristles' arrangement is inclined, and the incline of the bristles increases gradually until the bristles furthest from the tip of the toothbrush head are set at an angle of 90. degree.. It is possible to make the tips of all the bristles sit flush with each other so that all the bristles gradually wear-thin at the same pace, thus softly and equally brushing the surface of a person's teeth. Therefore, the present toothbrush has a sufficient industrial applicability.
