Abstract
Ein Feuchtetauscher (1) für eine Brennstoffzelle ist an den Kathodenabgasstrom und an den Gaszufuhrstrom einer Brennstoffzelle gekoppelt. Durch Sorption wird in einem Akkumulatorenmaterial (21) Wärme und Feuchtigkeit vom Kathodenabgasstrom (20) aufgenommen und an den Gaszufuhrstrom (30) zur Brennstoffzelle abgegeben, wobei das Akkumulatorenmaterial (21) wechselweise mit dem Kathodenabgasstrom (20) und mit dem Gas- bzw. Außenluftzufuhrstrom (30) in Kontakt gerät. Der Feuchtetauscher ist als Sorptionsrad (10) ausgestaltet, wobei durch Rotation des Sorptionsrads (10) die Feuchtigkeit übertragen wird. Das Akkumulatorenmaterial (21) ist ein feuchtigkeitsaufnehmendes Granulat. Durch die Entnahme der Feuchtigkeit aus der Kathodenabluft (20) und Befeuchtung der Zuluft (30) wird die Membran-Elektroden-Einheit der Brennstoffzelle vor Austrocknung geschützt.
