Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Membranelektrodeneinheit für eine selbstbefeuchtende Brennstoffzelle und ein Verfahren zu ihrer Herstellung. Außerdem betrifft die Erfindung eine selbstbefeuchtende Brennstoffzellenbatterie. Die Membranelektrodeneinheit umfaßt einen Membranelektrolyten, in den zumindest eine Katalysatorschicht einlaminiert ist, so daß innerhalb der Membran durch Rekombination der Reaktionsgase H2 und O2 Wasser gezielt erzeugt werden kann.
