However, daily practice proves that the usual technique of the Street and Place Signing, when it is judged by today's demands, does not fulfill this double purpose.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne une boîte (1) comprenant une surface extérieure (2) sur laquelle figure le portrait de la personne en l'honneur de laquelle la rue a été baptisée, ou une représentation en lien avec le nom de la rue, telle que la carte d'une île ou un monument célèbre typique de la ville, qui peut être, par exemple dans le cas de rue « Athinon », l'Acropole d'Athènes. Lorsque la surface de la plaque de rue est transparente, elle peut être appliquée sur une boîte munie d'un éclairage interne, qui permet de distinguer clairement pendant la nuit l'illustration ou la représentation colorée.
