Description

Method of Condoms Packing and the Packing Made Accordingly
This invention relates to the art of sanitation and hygienics, in particular, to man's condoms. It relates, more concrete, to methods of these products packing.
Background Art The man's condoms are intended, except for performance of other functions, for prophylactics of venereal, as well as some other diseases arising from copulation. Appeals to more active use of condoms have not only economic purposes, but aslo social ones.
Original additional properties are given to condoms to stimulate demand for them, for example, the changed relief of their surface, various form, colour, smell, taste and so on. Consumer's attention is attracted by bright and alluring packings. The most simple method of condoms packing consists in that the separate products are placed in individual packings, which surfaces bear images containing the minimal and necessary textual information on the goods, enterprise - manufacturer, date of production or validity term of the product, and sometimes also pictures which represent, in particular, the logo of the manufacturer. The products packed accordingly are the minimal commodity units and as such they are supplied to retail trade.
However, the method of condoms packing, which prevails now, consists in that the individual products are placed in individual packings, and then some number of such individualy packed products are placed in common packing which is a box or a pack of a dense material with a flap. The products can be taken through the flap. The design of the condoms common packing may be various and there are tens its variants (see United States patent US 5044492, IPC B 65 D 85/00, 1991, or United States patent US 5170887, IPC B 65 D 85/08, 1992).
The common packing was made of a material, attractive on its externsal appearance, and had a rigid structure.
Colourful images, more often of neutral or moderately erotic character, were placed on the external surface of the common packing, besides the necessary minimal textual information on the goods (name of the goods, its quantity, date of production or validity term, etc.). Placing images of erotic nature on the condoms common packings may attract attention of the potential buyers. It seems quite justified, taking into account specificity of the product and circle of its potential consumers.
However, it should be taken into account that the condoms are sold not only in the specialized trade enterprises, but also in usual drugstores and other trade facilities with wide assortment of various other goods. It seems not quite appropriate, in this connection, to put together packings of the products bearing on the visible surface the images of obviously erotic nature and the other goods.
So, there are certain contradictions between norms of public morality, on the one hand, which protects children and teenagers from excessive curiosity to the intimate side of life, and interests of the manufacturers, sellers and consumers of the production, on the other hand, interested in maximum wide attraction of attention to the given goods, in particular, because of placing on the condoms packings of more frank erotic stages.
Brief Description of the Invention
The basic aim of the present invention consist in improving attractiveness of packings of such specific goods, as condoms, at the expense of placing on their surfaces images of more erotic nature, without infringement at the same time, of existing norms of morality.
This aim is achieved because the images of erotic, sexual, intimate and similar nature, attractive to a consumer, are placed on an internal surface of common packing incorporating the separate condoms, and because the images which are placed on the internal surface of common packings are not identical in the extent that allows to minimize the probability of repeated purchase by one consumer of condoms packing with the images, already known for him (her). The essence of the invention consists in the following. The separate condoms are placed in individual packings of a paper, polymeric material or foil.
Then some number of condoms in individual packings are placed in common packing from a dense material, which has a rigid structure.
The minimally necessary information on the goods (including the name of the goods, its quantity, some information on the enterprise - manufacturer, validity term, and so on) is placed traditionally on the external surface of common packing of such products.
Other information on the given goods, and also pictures and other images of not erotic character may be additionally placed on the same surface. Images of erotic, sexual, intimate or similar nature shall be placed on the internal surface of commom packing. Such images will become accessible to a review only after the opening the common packing.
The images may be in the form of pictures and/or texts of the appropriate contents. In particular, the internal surface of common packing may bear the erotic stages, advices on the sex technique, manuals of intimate character. That part of common packing which internal surface bears the images of erotic and similar character, should be preferably easily separated from the other parts.
The images of erotic and similar nature, which are available on the internal surface of common packing, shall be not identical in such extent that the probability of purchase by one consumer of products with the identical images shall be minimized.
Detailed Description of the Invention The main idea which lies in the foundation of the present invention, is to increase consumer demand for man's condoms, by placing on their packings images stimulating sexual feelings of the consumers, not entering at the same time in the contradiction with the standard norms of morality.
The claimed invention solves this contradiction, allowing not only to keep, but also to improve attractiveness of these goods without infringe of any moral norms.
This result is achieved because the images, attractive to a consumer, of erotic, sexual, intimate and similar nature are placed on internal surfaces of common packings incorporating separate condoms, but the external surfaces of these packings remain free from such images.
The images of erotic and similar nature become accessible to a review in this case after opening the common packing only.
No serious objection may be raised in this connection, and also taking into account specific character of the goods, from the moral and ethical point of view against placing on internal surfaces of condoms common packings of the frank enough images.
Besides, the images of erotic and similar nature, available on the internal surfaces of the common packings of groups of condoms, shall be unequal, and the degree of their inequality is such, that allows to minimize the probability of repeated purchase by one consumer of condoms packings with the identical images. It should be made for to increase consumer's demand for them.
At implementation of the invention the separate condoms are placed in individual packings of a paper, polymeric material or foil.
Then some number of condoms in individual packings is placed in common packing of a dense material, which has a rigid structure.
The minimally necessary information on the goods (in particular, name of the goods, its quantity, some information on the enterprise - manufacturer, validity term, and so on) is placed, at least, on an external surface of the face side of the condoms common packing.
Another information on the given goods, and also pictures and other images of non-erotic nature may be placed additionally on the same surface.
Besides, the additional information may be placed also on external surfaces of any lateral sides of packing, however it is desirable, that the external surface of the packing side which is opposite to the face side, would not bear any image.
The images of erotic, sexual, intimate or similar nature shall be placed on an internal surface of common packing, preferably, on that part, which external surface bears no image. The images may be in the form of pictures and/or texts of the appropriate contents.
The "text" means hereinafter the independent images carrying the readable information and occupying, at least, a part of the material surface. The "picture" means all other, except for textual, independent images occupying, at least, a part ofthe material surface.
In particular, erotic stages may be reproduced, advices on the sex technique may be expressed, manuals of intimate character may be given on the internal surface ofthe common packing. The part of common packing which internal surface bears the images of erotic and similar nature, should be, preferably, easily separable from the other parts ofthe common packing.
The structure ofthe common packing incorporating the group of condoms shall enable, preferably, to separate easily the part bearing the images of erotic and similar nature.
It may be achieved, in particular, by putting perforations on perimeter ofthe corresponding part ofthe packing.
Such structure of common packing can allow the interested consumers to separate and to keep that part of common packing, which bears, for example, the images of erotic nature.
The images of erotic and similar nature, which are placed on the internal surface of one or several parts of common packing, should be not identical for all common packings. The optimum degree ofthe inequality ofthe images on the internal surfaces of condoms common packings should be such, that the probability of purchase by one consumer of products with the identical images should be minimized.
The images which are placed on internal surfaces of common packings, should be periodically updated for this purpose. The amateurs can make erotic collections, as a result, keeping the parts, separated from common packings, bearing on the surfaces the images of erotic nature,.
The essence of this invention may be illustrated by the following Examples which are not having, hiwever, any limiting character. EXAMPLE 1.
The separate condoms were placed and hermetized in individual packings of a polymeric material. Each 5 condoms in individual packings were placed in common packing which is looking like a rigid envelope.
The minimal necessary information on the goods (name ofthe product, number of products in the packing, validity term, name ofthe enterprise - manufacturer) was placed on the face surface ofthe rigid packing.
The colourful bright patterns which can attract attention were placed on the same surface.
The images in the form of colour photos of erotic nature were placed on the internal surface of that part ofthe common packing, which is opposite to the face part.
Each 25 packings in the set of 100 common packings bear on the internal surfaces of packings the erotic photos of various contents. Thus, four kinds ofthe erotic images were presented in this set in equal number.
All set was send to the specialized trade facility with high turnover ofthe given goods.
The new set was send after the sale ofthe all previous one. The erotic images on common packings in the new set were different from the images in the previous set.
If to consider conditionally that the average consumer buyes one condoms common packing once in two weeks, the probability was insignificant of repeated purchase of packing with the identical erotic images.
EXAMPLE 2.
The separate condoms were placed and hermetized in individual packings of a foil. Each 5 condoms in individual packings were placed in common packing which was a flat box of a rigid material. The minimal necessary information on the goods (name ofthe product, number of products in the packing, validity term, name ofthe enterprise - manufacturer) was placed on the front surface ofthe common packing.
Colourful pictures ofthe neutral contents which can attract attention were placed on the same surface.
The images in the form of picture and corresponding text containing advice on the sex technique were placed on the internal surface of that part of common packing, which is opposite to the face side.
The surface which bears the images of sexual character was bordered from the other parts of packing by a line of perforations. It allows to separate easily this part from the other parts ofthe common packing, not damaging the image.
Each 10 packings in the set of 100 condoms common packings bear on internal surfaces images not repeating the images which are placed on surfaces of other packings. Thus, ten kinds ofthe images were presented in this set in equal numbers.
All set was send to the non-specialized trade enterprise, having rather insignificant turnover of these goods.
The new set was send after the sale of all the previous one. The images on common packings in the new set were different from the images in the previous set.
The probability was small of repeated purchase by one consumer of packing with the identical image.
Thus, there are serious grounds to believe, that the use of this invention will allow to improve attractiveness and to raise competitiveness ofthe claimed goods and to increase consumer's demand for them.
