Abstract

Des moteurs du type réacteurs utilisés par les constructeurs de modèles réduits souffrent d'un certain nombre d'inconvénients. Ces réacteurs doivent être démarrés à l'aide d'air comprimé pour entraîner la turbine en rotation. Un moteur à turbine (1), comprend un compresseur (2) vers l'avant et une turbine (4) vers l'arrière et reliés par un arbre (6). Un moteur électrique (70) et/ou un générateur comprend un rotor (72) monté sur ledit arbre, de préférence, entre le compresseur et la turbine. Cet agencement évite de recourir à une alimentation d'air comprimé. Une petite batterie de démarrage convient pour démarrer un moteur de modèle réduit, et avec une unité de commande quelconque, elle peut être portée ou montée à bord, si nécessaire. Une fois que le moteur est démarré, la batterie de départ et/ou la batterie de réception peut être chargée à partir du générateur.
