Abstract

L'invention porte sur une unité de transmisison à commande à distance comprenant un récepteur (RER), un circuit de décision (DC) et un émetteur (TR). Le récepteur reçoit des commandes d'entrée par commande à distance (IRC) transmises par une unité de commande à distance (RCU) actionnée par un utilisateur. L'émetteur (TR) transmet des commandes de sortie par commande à distance (ORC). Le circuit de décision (DC) détermine si les commandes d'entrée (IRC) appartiennent à un groupe prédéterminé. L'émetteur (TR) retransmet sélectivement les commandes d'entrée (IRC) sous forme de commandes de sortie (ORC) à un appareil contrôlable (APP1) en fonction de l'appartenance ou non des commandes d'entrée (IRC) à un groupe prédéterminé. Ce type d'unité de transmission par commande à distance (RCT) est utilisé de manière avantageuse dans un système doté d'un premier appareil contrôlable (APP1) ayant une certaine fonction (par exemple, le télétexte) et un second appareil contrôlable (APP2) qui fournit une version améliorée de cette fonction. L'unité de transmission par commande à distance (RCT) est agencée de sorte que, d'un côté, un récepteur de commande à distance (RE1) du premier appareil contrôlable (APP1) puisse recevoir les commandes retransmises par commande à distance (ORC), tandis que, d'un autre côté, les commandes d'entrée (IRC) transmises par l'unité de commande à distance (RCU) soient protégées.
