Abstract

The invention relates to a self-contained personal heating system which can be integrated into a coverall-type garment. The system essentially comprises a network of small flexible pipes (1) configured as a closed circuit starting in a detachable heating unit (2), which is attached over the chest of the user and supplies hot water to two thin storage pads located at the level of the kidneys (8) and abdomen (9). Moving out of the two storage pads in "downflow" tubes the water descends to the level of the feet, passing through two connecting points (10) fitted with non-return valves. Each time the user takes a step the water enters pressure soles which are the starting point for the "upflow" tubes through which the water returns to the storage pad of the heating unit, and so on.
