Abstract

The invention relates to a folding seat, comprising limbs (3) which are supported on the ground underneath in at least three points, a sitting surface (8) which extends at least between two limbs, and a back rest (9) which is attached to the seat above. The inventive seat has two pairs of limbs (1, 2), each pair comprising two interconnected spreadable limbs. Each limb of one pair (1) is connected to a designated limb of the other pair (2) between the free end of the limb and the area connected to the other limb of the same pair, in such a way that they can pivot in relation to each other. A locking device is provided between the limb pairs. Said locking device prevents the limb pairs (1, 2) from pivoting, locking them in a sitting position. In order to produce a more comfortable and stable seat, the sitting surface (8) and the back rest (9) consist of rigid panel elements which are flexible in relation to each other and which are detachably connected to the limbs. The sitting surface and back rest may also consist of a flexible material, in which case the back rest is fixed to an upper extension of a support limb (5) which is attached between the two pairs of limbs in such a way that it slides and can be locked in place.

Description

Zusammenlegbares Sitzmobel Collapsible seating

Die Erfindung betrifft ein zusammenlegbares Sitzmobel nach dem Oberbegriff der Ansprüche 1 und 7.The invention relates to a collapsible seating furniture according to the preamble of claims 1 and 7.

Zusammenlegbare Sitzmobel sind in üblicher Bauart vorwiegend als Camping-Stuhle oder sogenannte Regiestuhle bekannt. Um Camping-Stuhle zusammenzulegen, sind dabei Sitz und Lehne zusammenklappbar, wobei sich αie beiden vorderen Beine des Stuhles zusammen mit der Vorderkante der Sitzflache an den rückwärtigen Bereich anlegen. Ähnlich verhalt es sich bei Regiestuhlen, bei denen Sitzflache und Ruckenlehne aus einem flexiblen Material bestehen und derart zusammengefaltet werden, daß der zusammengeklappte Stuhl ebenfalls ein rechteckiges Gebilde mit einer Hohe entsprechend der des nicht zusammengelegten Stuhles und einer Breite entsprechend der Tiefe der Sitzflache ergibt. Unabhängig von ihrem zu hohen Gewicht erreichen derartige zusammenlegbare Stuhle nicht das kompakte Packmaß, das für das Mitfuhren bei Fußoder Radwanderungen erforderlich wäre. In der US-PS 4,836,601 wurde daher bereits ein Klappstuhl vorgestellt, der zwei V-förmig aufspreizbare miteinander schwenkbar verbundene Schenkelpaare aufweist, mit denen ein flexibler Sitz- und Rücklehnenstoff verbunden ist. Zum Zusammenfalten des Klappstuhls können die beiden Schenkel jedes Schenkelpaares aus der gespreizten Position parallel aneinander gelegt werden, wodurch sich ein geringes Packmaß ergibt. Durch die Befestigung des Rücklehnenstoffes am oberen Ende des äußeren Schenkelpaares im Bereich der Verbindung der beiden Schenkel drücken sich diese jedoch beim Anlehnen durch den Rückenlehnenstoff des Stuhles hindurch, was als unbequem und störend empfunden wird. Die Erfindung befaßt sich daher mit dem Problem, ein gattungsgemäßes Sitzmöbel anzugeben, das einen hohen Sitzkomfort und gute Stabilität bei gleichzeitig geringem Packmaß in zusammengelegtem Zustand gewährleistet.After folding, such a chair has only a small depth, but a rectangular or triangular structure remains with the width and height of the chair that has not been folded. Das in Abbildung 1) dargestellte Sitzmöbelgestell besteht aus zwei Schenkelpaaren 1, 2, von denen jeweils ein Schenkel des einen Schenkelpaares 2 mit einem Schenkel des anderen Schenkelpaares 1 im Mittenbereich der Schenkel mit je einem Bolzen 3 derart verschwenkbar verbunden ist, daß das eine Schenkelpaar 2 als inneres Schenkelpaar 2 ausgebildet ist, dessen Schenkel zwischen denen des anderen, als äußeres Schenkelpaar 1 ausgebildeten Schenkelpaares 1 angeordnet sind. Die einzelnen Schenkel eines jeden Schenkelpaares 1, 2 sind miteinander über jeweils eine ein Spreizen und Wiederzusammenlegen der Schenkel gestattende Bolzenverbindung 4 gelenkig verbunden. Zwischen den beiden Bolzenverbindungen 4 erstreckt sich ein Stützschenkel 5, der an der oberen Bolzenverbindung 4 verschwenkbar und in der unteren Bolzenverbindung 4 in einer Gleithülse 6 verschieblich gelagert ist. Die untere Bolzenverbindung 4 mit der Gleithülse 6 ist in Abb.l) als vergrößerter Ausschnitt dargestellt. An seinem unteren Ende weist der Stützschenkel 5 eine Ausnehmung 5.1 auf, in die ein Arretierungsdorn 7 durch die Gleithülse 6 einführbar ist und dadurch ein Zusammenklappen des Sitzgestells verhindert. Diese Ausführungsform mit dem Stützschenkel 5 stellt eine stabile Arretierungsmöglichkeit der Schenkelpaare 1, 2 dar und bietet darüber hinaus eine zusätzliche Abstützung des Sitzmöbels im hinteren Bereich. Der Stützschenkel 5 weist dabei eine obenseitige Verlängerung 14 auf, die die Rückenlehne 9 trägt . Dadurch entsteht ein Freiraum zwischen dem Stoff der Rückenlehne 9 und den Schenkeln des inneren Schenkelpaares 1, so daß sich diese beim Anlehnen an die Rückenlehne 9 nicht durchdrücken können, und es ist eine höhere Lehne realisierbar. Die obenseitige Verlängerung 14 hat eine als zwei weitere spreizbare Schenkel 15 ausgebildete Verbreiterung, an der die oberen Enden der Rückenlehne 9 befestigt sind. Diese weiteren Schenkel 15 lassen sich zum Zusammenlegen des Sitzmöbels ebenfalls zusammenschwenken. Durch die außermittige Befestigung der Rückenlehne 9 beidseits der Längsmittelachse des Stützschenkels 5 an den weiteren spreizbaren Schenkeln 15 wird ein zusätzlicher Freiraum geschaffen, so daß auch der Kopf angelehnt werden kann, ohne daß sich der Stützschenkel 5 durch den Stoff der Rückenlehne 9 hindurchdrückt.Another embodiment of a piece of seating furniture according to the invention is shown in Figures 9) and 10).
