  • the triggering and duration can also be displayed in any other suitable manner that distinguishes this portion from the normal pressure curve.
  • the essential point is that that the indication of triggering is displayed in intermediate conjunction with the graph representing the triggering respiration pressure or other physiological parameter logically related to it and is clearly distinguishable and readily intelligible to the user.
  • Fig. 3 and 4 illustrate the manner in which the respirator operation regarding its triggering into action is adjusted via control windows that can be opened in the user interface.
  • the control window desig- nated as "Trigger window” presents the respiratory duct pressure P[cmH 2 0] as a function of time t[s].
  • the width of the trigger window shown in the figure is adjustable.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé relatif à la surveillance d'un patient, procédé dans lequel on régule une action médicale effectuée par un appareil au moyen d'un paramètre physiologique mesuré sur le patient. On établit une valeur limite pour un signal de paramètre correspondant au paramètre physiologique du patient. Le signal de paramètre est mesuré sur le patient. Le signal de paramètre mesuré est indiqué sous la forme d'une représentation graphique. L'action médicale est déclenchée lorsque le signal de paramètre mesuré atteint la valeur limite préétablie ou lorsqu'on prévoit que la valeur limite va être atteinte. Le déclenchement de l'action et/ou la capacité de fonctionnement de l'action est/sont indiqués. L'indication du déclenchement et/ou de la capacité de fonctionnement de l'action est combinée à la représentation graphique du signal de paramètre de déclenchement et/ou d'un signal de paramètre qui lui est relié logiquement.
