Abstract

La présente invention concerne le moulage, avec polymérisation dans le moule, d'articles faits de mélanges à base d'acrylique ou de polymétacrylates chargés de trihydroxyde d'aluminium, lequel moulage fait intervenir l'utilisation, dans le moule, d'un film de protection en polyéthylène. Pendant le moulage dans le moule de silicium (5), on cherche à éviter que le mélange (8) à base d'acrylique ou de polyméthacrylate chargé de trihydroxyde d'aluminium se colle chimiquement à la partie mâle du moule (2) contre laquelle se forme la surface d'usure du produit (9). En l'occurrence, on dispose un film de protection en polyéthylène (3) sur cette partie mâle du moule (2) de façon que le mélange chargé coulé dans le moule (8) ne puisse pas endommager le moule en silicium (5) pendant la polymérisation. Le film utilisé (3) est appliqué contre une feuille fine acrylique (4). Une fois que le film de polyéthylène (3) est appliqué sur la feuille acrylique (4) de façon à venir en contact avec la matière de coulée, on procède par thermoformage, grâce à la chaleur et une dépression, pour que ces deux éléments, tels un chapeau ou un couvercle, épousent la forme du moule mâle (2).
