Abstract

Moyen destiné à améliorer le rapport signal/bruit sur la voie inverse d'un système de communication sans fil GSM qui utilise un réseau de distribution à large bande existant pour acheminer des signaux de communication de téléphones sans fil et d'émetteurs-récepteurs situés à distance à des émetteurs-récepteurs centraux et au réseau téléphonique. Le rapport signal/bruit est amélioré par un moyen de réglage silencieux d'intervalles de temps situé dans les émetteurs-récepteurs à distance, qui détecte l'absence de signal de communication provenant d'un téléphone sans fil pendant une période prédéterminée et fournit un réglage silencieux dans l'émetteur-récepteur situé à distance pendant n'importe quel intervalle de temps au cours duquel un téléphone sans fil ne fonctionne pas, ce qui permet ainsi de réduire le bruit blanc appliqué au réseau de distribution à large bande.
