Abstract

La présente invention a ceci de particulier que dans le dispositif de traitement de l'air conçu pour un salon de l'automobile, on réalise une prise d'air directe du salon, puis on divise cette prise d'air en deux courants; on introduit de l'air du premier courant, avec le dioxide de carbone et l'humidité qu'il contient, dans un regénérateur conçu pour regénérer l'oxygène provenant du dioxyde de carbone se trouvant dans l'air en faisant interagir le dioxyde de carbone et l'humidité de l'air en question avec l'oxydant du regénérateur, à savoir des composés de peroxyde de métaux alcalins; ensuite, on fait passer dans un filtre le mélange gaz-air obtenu par l'interaction entre lesdites substances chimiques, et l'air du second courant est envoyé dans le salon. Le volume d'air dans les courants est régulé en fonction de leur teneur en dioxyde de carbone. Du point de vue de sa construction, l'installation présente les particularités suivantes: incorporation d'un distributeur de gaz doté d'un tuyau d'admission et de deux tuyaux d'évacuation et assurant la distribution des volumes d'air dans les courants en fonction de leur concentration en dioxyde de carbone; raccordement direct d'un tuyau de prise d'air avec l'espace intérieur du salon; préparation de l'oxydant du regénérateur sous forme de composés de peroxyde de métaux alcalins; raccordement entre un tuyau d'évacuation du distributeur de gaz et la sortie du regénérateur, et entre l'autre tuyau d'évacuation dudit distributeur, par l'intermédaire d'une conduite supplémentaire, et le tuyau de sortie prévu comme moyen de raccordement avec l'espace intérieur du salon; enfin, incorporation d'un filtre à la sortie du regénérateur.
